Reading your post i am confused about grace period.
I have to pay the tocken yet for 1298cc,well i was asuming that after 31st july, there are 45 days as grace period.
Will i have to pay penalty if i pay tocken in 2nd weak of augest?

only ur 2010 token amount would be really low as the car is 10 years old now.
all i know is they are giving leverage on penalties and u should look forward to make a trip to the post office

Harris i believe that last date to deposit token tax without any penalty was 15th August 2010. Not sure though. Let it confirmed by some other member.

Hi guys. I recently bought civic exi, lahore registered.
Last token was upto 30-6-2008. The total tax paid was 10,600Rs.

Car Specs:

Civic 2000
Lhr Reg
1493cc

Breakdown:

It is writeen as:
2T-6000
PT-1800
A-2000
P-400
PT-400

Total = 10600Rs

Can anybody explain what the hell the above mentioned things mean?
Can anybdy let me know, how much i am charged for this year and what was the charges for previous years.

Secondly, my car was Purchased & registered in October, 2000. So it is less than 10Years old, so had to pay Witholding tax.

Can anyone please tell me that next year what will be the token charges as the car will be more than 10 years old. Will the token be less than this year?

Moreover, i visit MTMIS website. Can anybdy explain what the hell the below mentioned calculation mean which is 24500Rs?
