See how just one cc can increase the tax so much

For my Pakistani Corolla which is registered as 1299 cc, the annual charges (token+tax) is 2098 rs.

yar on Engine it mention 1299cc, i know if i rectify this from ETO office then the tex will reduce but dont have time to visit....

also i have a question last year i paid around 4000 rs for my City 2008 Isb Model, which is also 1300 cc...but this year thay charge 3045Rs....dont know whats the procedure of Tex Calculation..

but guys remember for cars like diesel corollas etc, already have a huge token amount, so its better to avail 10%

however if i had a mehran i would always go after july and pay 10% extra instead of all the khuwari

Totally agree , Specially in Punjab there is long long queue , because of 80 % reduction on previous year missing token

Today I saw an add in the Jang Newspaper. It wasn't mentioned in that add that the deadline has been extended. It was simply stating that 31st July is the last date. After it they will start the operation against the defaulters and if someone found guilty, he/she has to pay 100% fine.

Will they announce the extension in deadline on the last day?

they will not announce this

if u have a small car u can pay 10% extra and get tokens done before september. for bigger cars 10% is rather costly

I have already paid token tax for my GLi 2009 and availed the 10% discount offer. Younger brother is going to pay token tax for other car, datsun 120y, tomorrow inshaAllah. Hopefully he will get the discount also.

yesterday paid token for my car in islamabad i-10/4 post office

1) Suzuki Liana 2007
2) 1328 cc
3) Islamabad
4) 3348 rupees

wow so it means token for islamabad registered 1300cc car is 900 rupees lesser then lahore registered 1300cc car.cool

Today paid token for my Datsun 120y 1974 (1200cc). The amount paid was RS 810.

Other members from Lahore who have paid token tax for their Datsun 120ys are requested to post the amount as I think the amount should be lesser than what I paid. Last year same amount was paid.

It was F-10 Post Office, actually my Mother in Law went their, last year and that year too, that's why i was confuse that whats the calculation method for this tax..

they were actually supposed to charge u rup 3348 last year and this year as well for ur city.
they over charged u last year and then undercharged u this year to compensate. dont know why though
