I have sold out my cousin's Corrola XLi 2011 (May ICT Registered). But I came to know that he din't pay the tokens for last two years. So I have to clear the tokens before the car is being handed over to new owner. Can someone suggest me about below queries.

How much token money should I Pay for 2011-12 & 2012-13.
How much is the penalty/fine additional to base token tax amount
and where can I pay these tokens in the simplest way....

If you can "charm" the postmaster he will do it and calculate all the things. Otherwise you will have to visit ETO office and get the registration re-stamped with new date, then take it to post office and the postmaster will do it (without any gratification). These are the two routes which work in Pakistan, I am not in favour of the first one though.

Here is one confusion. I came across an agent to do it as I was in a hurry. After calculation he told me that total cost will be around 4500 for two years missing token. I agreed and asked him to proceed. He went to the computer room and said that they will make the entry. I waited for around half an hour. Then the agent 5the registration back having a stamp on it from ETO office. but confusion is that they stamped it as (Paid upto 30-June 2013) which seems Ok but amount written on that stamp was 1759+370 total of 2100 or so... so I asked the agent that where is 4500 written on the stamp. he said that I have paid 4500 but they have written 1759+370 by mistake. but I insisted that I will give u 4500 only if it is written on the stamp. after a little argument he agreed to give him only 2100 and I did so..Now prob is that on the stamp it is written that PAID upto JUNE-30-2013 and amount is 2100.

But I am confused whether it is confirm and won't make any ambiguity in future. Tomorow I will visit ETO office again and will cross verify whether all is well or there is something missing.

Experts plz suggest whether this stamp is ok or I have to do something else???

Bro, I know there is something fishy about his comission but actually I never visited ETO office personaly before. There is only one guy who is v reliable and do all the stuff for me while I am sitting in my office.Yesterday tht guy wasn't available so I thought lets deal with the agent myself.

Now can u plz suggest that the token is correct and it won't make any prob in future.

On Monday I got my car registered from Islamabad ETO office. Right from Parking to every step agents offered me to get the job done in two hours for 2,500 rupees. I said na, I can do it myself, no matter if I have to stand in queues. Got it done in five hours (one hour loadshedding + one hour lunch break). Instead of waiting in long queue at NBP I drove to SBP, hardly four five people in line.

We are too lazy a nation in fact Mughlia Bachay, can't stand in queue. Want to do things in a jiffy, want to break all queues by bribe.

Its not about standing in que, its about all that disrespect and long waiting times, I had to get b form of my kid today reached nadra at 9:45 am got in fast track lane there were around 10 12 guys ahead of me it took me 1 hour 30 mins to get the token not to forget the humiliation, disrespect by people all that pushing and stuff and the hole through which i had to giv him papers and talk was at 4 feet height now imagine a guy 6 feet 2 has to talk through that anyways went inside had to wait another 20 mins they called my name the guy there kept on getting my family tree together and after another 20 mins told me sir B form save nahi ho raha subha aa jain, I mean wtf man i dont have any other thing to do ?

I would rather pay an extra 1000 to some one to get it done for me, same is the case with car reg, i pay 4000 to this Rana Muzzamil guy he gets the car registered in a jiffy with choice number

You know we are responsible for queues not moving fast because our agent goes inside and gets in a jiffy. If this is the formula of success, developed countries must have implemented it, but I do not get any evidence.

My father in law is 70+ and retired banker. Last year he did (car reg) by all himself.
