yaar someone has made the calculation easy in that thread

If your car token tax is Rs. 540 then
X= 10000 - (540*total years tax already paid)

Life time Token (Rs)= X+7500+200

7500 is Income Tax and 200 is professional Tax

I understand how this calculation is done. All I am asking is that in the end you wrote 7500 is the Income Tax. So do I have to pay this income tax for a car which is more than 10 years old? If not then the paid tokens till date would be subtracted from 10,000 Rs not from 17,xxx Rs. Right?

life time token should be applicable on brand new cars only
people usually keep brand new cars for 5 years in pk . makes a bit sense on that.
else i agree with your points. like i said this is easy revenue for the government and common man is the easiest target

Need a little information, i have a Cultus, 2001, i paid 10,000 life time token last year, being over ten years old do i still needs to pay the WHT and Income tax of ten years amounting rupees 7500?

Ok so a colleague paid his life time token on his early 2007 model mehran, i just say the receipt, the income tax deducted is Rs 3750 which suggests that this is the amount for just 5 years. What the hell are they doing, they are collecting full 7500 from some people (even if the car is not new) and different amounts from others

yesterday paid my car tokens at lahore cantt gpo ( all cars lahore registered )

1) corolla 2012 1299cc rs3570/- ( no change compare to last year )
2) city 2012 1300cc rs 4820/- ( increased from last year but not remember exact value)

someone mentioned on this thread that within 15 days of new car registration have to also enroll in local post office
so next year can pay token in post office but in case of my honda city i didnt enrolled it in post office last july but this time
post office accepted token amount without referring me to excise office

my 1000 cc vitz 2013 march registered already having life time token book so i dont have to pay anything ?

Vitz 998cc ISB regd.. paid token Rs. 1099 in I-10 post office...
The line was extremely long, luckily the counter empty was for new registrants.. but then they asked for photocopy ... in pakistan as a rule always carry photocopies of all the docs whenever going for sarkari work...

Here's a breakdown of the total registration cost including with holding tax :
Total cost of registration by honda city sales kalma chowk. Message sent to me by the sales representative when I registered my car through them
2403500*2%=48070
wht 75000+48070=123070
book 500+123070=123570
T Tax 4500+123570=128070
I Tax 4000+128070=132070
P Tax 200+132070=132270
s cheg 4000+132270= 136300

I still haven't received my registration book. Honda people say they will let me know in two weeks.
They got a challan form from the registration office which allows my father to drive the car wherever he wants to and it states that the car is registered in his name and original registration documents are in process.
I guess u will have to go to the ETO office and pay this amount when the registration book comes.
