July is here and its time to pay the car token/tax money.
please provide the following information just for the sake of comparison/convenience of others.

1) Car Model make
2) Engine CC
3) City of registration
3) Token amount paid

AoA bro,
Can you please upload the latest car token tax payment breakdown along with relevant documents we have to show to the post office people by editing this main post.
It's very hard to dig into this thread every year to find the necessary information.

I usually hand the registration documents and money to my trusted driver, who then pays the token tax and brings back the receipts.
Does the car owner have to go individually this time or can someone pay on his behalf provided he is given the registration booklet and NTN certificate?

I dont think it matters if the owner goes or not , if you trust your driver with your NTN certificate then i don't see any issue, but brother do take care they he doesn't misuse your certificate, would suggest u go yourself

Ok, went to post office today. I am short of galiyaan jo main in logo ko doon. They showed me this and only upon my asking, the guy told me that there is a filer / non filer thing too. He said I have to submit NTN copy and my income tax will be reduced to more or less half.

Question for tax return filers (last fiscal year): Did you get a new NTN card ? If not then what he means by NTN copy, I have a NTN number but don't remember NTN card. It was issued to my around ten years back I guess which I do not have with me now.

Which year is your car ? If it was bought last year from Lahore and taken to Isb/Pindi , without transferring then brother im not sure you can pay in RWP. And yes this is the punjab tax rates

it is already transferred n last year token was paid in registration city, i sent the reg book there to some1 n was driving without papers lol, luckily no one stopped me, now i got ETO stamped copy which a police guy told me about when stopped at a check post

I did not. I will take the NTN print out from FBR site, if they accept it then good enough. Otherwise, in any case I get all the advance income tax paid adjusted in my salaries through office.

Deposited token tax of my car ie Altis 1599cc2011 model rwp registered , attached last year tax return and ID card copy , was charged 12800/- because of tax payer other wise I think would have paid some six to seven thousand more if I was not a tax payer.

NTN is only for person who has means of earning. Like Govt & Private Employees, Businessmen men shopkeeper etc. You dont need to get NTN.

Suggest we all check our Post Office and share the info. It is possible the post master may be making calculation error.

I see, thanks. For layman, can you list down the steps needed on the fbr website to register for NTN?

I suggest u to make ntn for a company
Select a name sifferent any trading company and fill the form availble online or at fbr office u may need electric bill

Paid ~41k for two civics.. 21300 each to b exact.. There aint any waiver of any kind watsover, thats what i heard.. Though i didnt go to pay bt the amount is insanely high!

I have been paying my token tax as earliest as possible since I started driving. I am a regular tax payer and return filer also. But I will defer token tax payment this year. I think government as gone insane for coming up with so much high withholding tax knowing that only a few would be able to get it adjusted due to cumbersome procedures.

Any change in the 10 Year old car's token tax? These With Holding Tax are mostly on newer car's I guess.

Isb rates are also changed. ETO will issue new rates on 10th July 14 for general Public.
