I have a Honda city 2006 Islamabad Reg:, Last year I paid 3000 at Islamabad ETO. Yesterday I called an agent for Paying the token Tax. He told me that this time Token Tax is Rs 6000. is it so?

No bRo... There is no increase in tex of Isbd registered cars.

Documents required -
1.Photocopies acknowledgement slip of tax payment (form IT2)
2.Car registration books- if the registration book is being taken for the first time to the post office (IE if the car is new )then photocopies of the first 2 pages of the cars registration book are required.

The income tax is not excluded,but halved for tax payers

This is lahore defence GPO... Went at 2 pm on Saturday , and there was no one. Got free in 5 min

My father paid the tokens. He says that only the acknowledgement slip is required. You can get it online or you can get it when you pay your annual income tax. It should show the amount you paid.

That's what is important. My grandfather, who's retired and owns a 2005 civic vti had to pay 17,300 because he didn't have that acknowledgement receipt showing the amount he paid as income tax (he's obviously exempt and showing the FBR certificate didn't help either)

NTN/ tax return certificate is only a torture for Punjab registered cars

same old rates in isb. no document required just token money and book

If they are favoring those who are income tax payers then I don't think this is a wrong step. Agar kisi neh gari lee huwe hai and he is not paying income tax he should be answerable or else pay the tax

It is 3,384 .. NTN alone won't be of any use. You need to present your tax return performa IT-2 .. You can fill it online from FBR site and take a print showing your tax returns

It was the new car so at ETO ... The New location of excise and taxation office is H-9 , near HEC office

Your car Islamabad Registered? Then why you need to present IT2 as no such thing for Islamabad.

ummm but would you call increasing tax from last year's 8700 to 14200 this year.... a wrong step or a right step???? (by the way I am talking about increase (63%) - for a regular tax payer)????????

I have already said previously that such an increase is inevitable they could have increased gradually but still sir we need to pay TAX. This is very important
