Sir with due respect I am an economist and I know the importance of tax In an economy in my retrospect only 2% of our people pay their due taxes so we get what we pay. I hope people get aware and pay like u my brother. You are a tax payer and I respect that !

Income tax is not the only tax. Each and everyone of us is paying around 16-19% sales tax, regardless of their income level. Then there is WHT, CVT and income tax. Please keep in mind that almost all the salaried class is paying income tax. If govt fails to collect it from big and small companies, it doesn't mean that we are not paying taxes.

In my view, if a person is paying all these (I am), total tax percentage goes 30-40%... and what are we getting in return? This is extremely high tax percentage, when we consider our country's purchasing power parity.
