According to new slabs 4.5k for filers and 15k for non filers.

Are you sure about this? 4500 total token tax for an 1800cc vehicle which was 15k last year for return filers? I seriously doubt that.

I am actually a filer and I paid 15k last year for my 1.8 altis. It is hard to believe for me that the token has been straight away reduced to 4500 for 1800 cc cars.

u must have paid a month earlier otherwise when i paid mine, it was 21k for 1800cc then
n it was going to b 6500 for 10yr old car, mine was 9yr old last year, but now no idea if its going to b 6500 or again 18k this yr

No it does not apply to 10 year old car and even withholding tax is also not charged
