CB 125F 2019 unveiled in Pakistan - See Prices, Pictures and Specifications

Today, on 4th January 2019, Atlas Honda has unveiled 2019 CB125F for its consumers in Pakistan. The bike comes in two different trims; basic and special edition.

As per the details, the bike houses a four-stroke OHV air-cooled engine just like CG 125. It has a new and sporty look with dynamic graphics. CB125F has both kick-start and self-start options. It has a 5-speed gear transmission and a fuel tank capacity of around 12.3 litres. The bike has been shipped in various colours including Red and Black.

The company has priced the basic variant at PKR 159,900 and the special edition at PKR 161,900.

What a horrible excuse for a bike. A machine from the previous century pretending to be a CB125F.
Yamaha's YBR will wipe the floor with this turd.
Oh and that price tag is just plain hilarious. Hope you don't sell a single unit, Atlas.

It should be a slap on our brainless buyer. Buying vibrating machine ohv for 160 k and leaving ybr ohc with balancer at 140 k.

Essentially a slightly modern Deluxe, with alloy rims, self start and a different instrument cluster etc. So now we have the Classic, the Deluxe, the Dream and the CB125F. At least, I think it was Dream, a budget version of the Deluxe without the front disc brake.

Suddenly chinese replica bikes are beginning to make a lot more sense.

Cg lovers? That thing was discontinued in 90’s, and u love what’s legacy, if sale figures are going to be a decision changer than it’s just the matter of time when some unknown Chinese company will set the sale numbers on fire or Yamaha will do that on their own pace, don’t forget what Yamaha achieved is really a great reputation, and slowly it’s killing honda name

Unrelated question: Why does honda's cg 125 sound so good for a stock single cylinder bike? Is it because it's an OHV?

Nothing extra as compared with Yamaha YBR with huge extra price. Not worthy of the price. This is another add-on and continuity of robbing Pakistani people by Japanese auto companies.

Does it really? I find it absolutely annoying, tbh. To answer your question, its because of an unrestricted muffler with resonance that produces sound that may be considered halfway between tinny and bassy. Without the resonance from the muffler, it is annoyingly loud and tinny.

On a completely unrelated note, I once put a 400cc GSXR silencer on my CG 125. Got quite a shock, it was absolutely silent and the low range torque improved a lot. Even at full throttle it barely made more sound than a CD 70.

Well, i guess sound is subjective.
For a small capacity single cylinder bike, it doesn't sound bad imo.

And that's interesting, so what would be the effect if we did the opposite? i.e. Slap the CG exhaust on another bike?

It would depend, but you won’t get the same sound on every bike. It would depend on the shape of the combustion chamber, the exhaust port, the volume of exhaust, the exhaust pipe diameter etc.

Performance wise yes there will be a difference if you put a high flow exhaust on a small displacement motorcycle. On a 70cc there would be a noticeable difference but on a 100cc you might not notice any difference.
