Xiaomi service center quoted Rs 8000 for panel+glass+back Cover if i remember correctly (10000 if board also needed to be replaced). No idea about the breakup

How come pocophone is so cheap with respect to its specs

They saved money elsewhere. It made of plastic, and they used things from phones they were already selling so they saved a lot of money plus i think they are selling at very marginal or no profit at all just to capture market. Their next pocophone will probably be a bit higher priced with better hardware.

Totally agree with your statement except...

It's not exactly 'plastic'! It's polycarbonate. If you're familiar with Nokia/Microsoft Lumias or perhaps older Motorolas like Droid Maxx etc then you'll instantly recognize Pocophone.

It's not premium like metal or glass but... It's vastly more durable and won't look ugly after few scratches. Plus, there's even an "armored edition" whose back is made of kevlar, a material used in bulletproof vests:

It's not a phone for شوبازی , It's meant to be used regularly.

Oh ok. I would have bought pocophone on its release here if it was stock android but all reviews say its a great phone so maybe i should consider it if its around 35k.

If u r in karachi u can get xiaomi redmi note 4 panel in 2500 + 500 around repair charges although i was not knowing same that lcd and other parts of Xiaomi are now available in open market so got them from AliExpress

Homeshopping.pk is selling pocophone for 45999 base version one, its way expensive then other markets, imagine how much armoured edition would be !!!
Buying this phone at this price i think is not a wise choice ...

Samsung is a bad choice in low budget phones. Xiaomi and Huawei would have been far better choices.

Exactly my point.

Spending my time in researching about specs and quality + comparison as well as taking opinions from first hand users of those phones so that I too can avoid changing 5 phones in 2 years and consulting (actually bugging) everyone around my circle

As I said earlier, had it been my “abba g ka paisa” then I’d just put my finger on the most advertised and flagship phone of a renowed brand. Magar apna paisa (salary / pocket money / savings) kharachty huye soch bichar krni parti hai and I think it’s worth it​

I recommend him to use iPhone 6 plus models as it has good battery and it will fill your facebook & whatsapp hungers and its durable and re-sale is good.

Agreed. I’m currently using iPhone 6 and it is bent from right side i.e. near the lock/sleep button.
