We all know what happened to faw v2... also Chinese, but a nice car nevertheless. Rn on pakwheels you can search, their resale is between 8.5-12.5... whereas new it costs 17.5 after registration for non filer, atleast here in Islamabad.
With the same depreciation scale, expect 2.4mln top variant to cost between 1.7-2.1 after a couple years... even with rupee value falling it doesn't affect Chinese brands, it's only corollas which sold for 1.2 mln in 2014 and 6 years later its 1.9. Pak market mentality, deal with it. That's the prob with other brands too, they think there the best but big 3 are no kids, they understand the market for more than 30 yrs, and others always end up getting kicked out of pak. Chevrolet joy is another good example, gem car against mehran but see what happened, you can get it for 0.45 mln. And FYI it was real quality product, not one which is Chinese and we haven't even seen it yet...
