Price will be the deciding factor for its success/failure. Manual variant should should be less than 2.2 million because 24.5 million is the price of current generation city so anything above 2.2 million for Alsvin MT won't work.. as people will be inclined towards city.
Although exterior is beautiful however build quality of dash board (plastic that's used) and interior looks inferior as compared to Yaris & Honda City (although it has airbags which are not available in city) however it now depends on its price now.
I'll personally inspect when its available on showroom (also have pre-booked online wd more info option selected) ... if its interior build quality is not impressive then City (current generation) is the right choice to upgrade (yaris i dont like its shape)
another headache for me is that there is no 3s outlet in Gujranwala of Changan and we've to goto Jehlum (nearest 3s drive time wise although distance wise Lahore is nearest but it takes twice the time due to traffic density). Changan should at least spread their 3s network to divisional headquarters across Punjab to be successful. KIA/Honda/Suzuki/IMC have large 3s network now acroos Punjab at least.
