I test drove oshan X7 future sense today.
Before I give my feedback let me share few things to make it easier for all of you to understand my driving experience.
I am a car lover and i love to drive cars. Also the most important thing in a car is how it drives and this drive will tell you about its build quality as well.
I have never bought even a used car without driving it. Even for used cars i drove similar cars but for few of them i just came out after few hundred meters saying thank you to the owner because when the condition is poor; drive also becomes poor and car's drive will tell you immediately.
And there have been cars after driving them i straight away asked the owner that how you want the payment to be made.
BESIDES DRIVING OF COURSE EVERY ONE LIKES THE FEATURES AND WANTS TO HAVE MORE.
Secondly i have never been baised towards any brand, big 3, japanese, chinese or germans, whosoever is giving the quality you can feel it once you drive their cars.
Let me give you my feedback of driving few cars along with oshan X7.
I have been owning and driving Japanese cars and i love their drives, here i am talking about sedans only like premio, prius and belta. Braking, suspension, handling, AC/heater excellent.
Toyota Corolla 2021: I bought a zero meter car and then it kept on parked in my garage for 3 months until i sold it because it drives hell pathetic because of its build quality and you are not trusting its brakes, steering control, AC was just like a fan even in winters.
Honda Civic X: Road grip fine but braking poor, AC performance poor even of brand new car.
Honda City: WADDI MEHRAN
AS THE CAR HEIGHT AND SIZE GETS BIGGER ITS VERY RARE THAT YOU ARE GOING TO GET COMFORT AND SMOOTHNESS IN DRIVE BCOZ CENTRE OF GRAVITY IS RAISED.
So now coming over to crossovers.
Honda Vezel: Drive is ok but suspension is poor and comfort is very low. Also we had the same dct gearbox issue.
MG HS: Pick is great, drive was good, looks and features especially interior awesome, suspension was not good or stiff, braking not good and reliable. Fuel consumption you all know very bad.
BMW X1 2018: As its a low segment bmw car so no features, everything manual like seats etc and it drives just like corolla. No smoothness and fun in driving.
Toyota CHR: Drives perfectly, suspension and brakes excellent, shape amazing, only size small, no panoramic and rear seats windows too high for kids... Darker inside.
Glory 580 Pro: Drive was good, suspension good, braking ok but car's shape and interior is somewhat paindu...nothing futuristic... Old school meter and interior
Sportage and Tucson: Sorry but i never liked them because of lack of features and same pricing as of other crossovers. Its my personal opinion.
Peugeot 2008: Loved its shape the most before driving it but in actual Size very small, interior very congested, drive and control was not good at all, manual adjusting seats in 60 lacs, driver's outside view dangerously narrow and bcoz of my steering adjustment i was not able to see the most interesting 3D cluster meter shashka
Oshan X7: the car is huge in size so i wasnt expecting a good drive BUT the moment i started driving it, it gave me immense pleasure, pick is exuberant, drive is very smooth, suspension is great, braking too was very good and reliable, handling was great.
Me too try to avoid chinese and like to have brands personally but i booked a future sense next day after this drive.
We cannot do anything about the pricing as it is what it is. Jis ka jo dil kar raha hai qeemat rakh ra and no one is asking them so we only can comment on car's driving experience.
One last piece of advice that i think we should not comment on any car untill and unless we drive it personally.
I hope my experience will help others to make a choice but even then i would always suggest to drive first before you buy. Thanks
