I am in the market for a car to suit my needs of a 7 seater on account of having a joint family. All the current SUVs were seen by me and sadly none of them comes up to standard of comfort or accessibility of third row. I have seen the X7, Sorento, Tiggo 8 etc. etc. Surprisingly the only one in which I and my son, both 6ft tall could comfortably sit and relax was the humble BR-V.
Despite all its short comings BR-V's third row packaging is class leading.
I have been looking seriously at the X7 and even went to the dealer yesterday with my son to do a test drive but, sadly, the test vehicle was not available. At the dealership I was informed that the delivery was now in November. The Tiggo 8 on paper is superior to X7 but as already mentioned big question is that Gandara Nissan's track record is not good wrt to producs aimed at the private customers like myself- namely Nissan and isuzu. Today's cars are all good and have faults may it be a Mercedes or Mehran, it boils down to how good is the dealer support and if the dealer is as good or bad and how good or bad is the Pakistani local partner. From personal experience I submit the Kia Spectra. Once Dewan withdrew its support from Twin City Motors my car just began to fall apart yet of all the 11 or 12 cars I have owned it was driven the highest milage.
