I think Changan will repeat the same move like Alsvin. Launch the vehicle and will not declare the price. After a month they will share pricing and obviously same phenomena of late deliveries and entertaining investors.

Just for my own knowledge, will anyone share the Word record from Guinness book as projected ? Also what this record is ? As I cant find it anywhere on global media.

What I know is that it was multiday live streaming and engine was running. The record is basically for the longest uninterrupted live stream video which was recently broken by someone else doing something diffrent. The guiness record is NOT for engine performance, it is for the longest live stream.

Please correct me if I am wrong. If an engine performance has a record and was given the guiness record than how come a human broke that record ??

No idea about that, I only forwarded the info as received.
If i remember correctly, Changan claimed something similar when they launched Alsvin. Can't say anything about the veracity of these claims.

In China, X7 is also sold with a lower powered 1.5 turbo with a manual transmission starting at 79.9k RMB (2.19mn PKR) but we are getting 188hp 1.5t/DCT version which is priced between 93.9k-133.9k RMB (2.58mn - 3.68mn PKR).

Price increase of Alsvin Lumiere from China to Pakistan is around 57%. For simplicity's sake and because both Alsvin and X7 fall under 1300-1500cc tax bracket, If we apply the same increase to X7 pricing, it comes out to be 5.77mn PKR.

We can expect some reduction in this final price since Changan has taken some cost cutting measures like using interior of older model and something very stupid that I haven't been able to confirm as of yet.

After exterior/interior mishmash, Changan presents another master class in cost cutting for local production. According to someone in the know, our X7 will be fitted with a different infotainment unit running Android, and not just any Android, Android KitKat or 4.4 from 2013.

According to that person, the same ancient OS was seen in 5-7 different vehicles so it looks like this is what will come in the production model as well.

This quick impressions post by someone on Facebook seems to bear out this info.

We are living in 2022, this is unacceptable and should be a deal breaker for most people. It looks like Changan has really dropped the ball here.

Can't speak for interior (people should learn to take better pics honestly in this day and age), but exterior wise it looks like a very handsome car.

Sir you'll have to navigate through unofficial Chinese websites to get any real info so there is a lot of deduction and approximation involved even when viewing the website through Google translate.

Not being discriminatory at all, just objective. X70 is completely Chinese. Haval H6 and Jolion also have excellent interiors even though they're Chinese. On the other hand, X7 seems like a notch below that quality, at least in the pictures that have been posted here.

I guess it's the color tone which is giving that odd feeling for X7. Will have to sit in one to decide.

I do agree glory pro is pretty good from the inside.

5.8 mil will be quite high and people won't be comfortable throwing that money on it I'm afraid. At least in the start before it has established.

Also, if it's really the cheap and ancient Android kitkat panel, then that would really be a shame.

Wow, this is horrible. Was just seeing people complain in the Civic thread about the Tecno infotainment system which runs on 4.4. Here they are launching a car in 2022 with the same version? Does this company not have an OEM unit which gives access to car functions as well as Android Auto/Apple Carplay? If not, that is a deal breaker for a car worth more than 5 million. Also, I noticed that Chinese writing on the bezels in the earlier photos, but I thought perhaps they may be on a plastic sticker. Is that writing actually permanent? If so it really degrades the look and feel of this system.

Lol, I have seen Glory Pro in person. Checked it out before deciding to book an X70. There is absolutely no comparison. Glory feels cheap in comparison, and the speedometer is truly ugly. X70 on the other hand looked very average to me in pictures, but in person it was something else. Seriously premium feel, great finishing and the smell of nappa leather seats really tops it off.

If you're comparing it with Proton X70, then definitely the X70 has much better looks.

Only talking about the quality of the interior here. Looks are subjective (though I do think X70 looks better both on the inside and on the outside).
