Change of resigration number

Hello PWlrsss.

I want to know that can I change my Cars registration number. Currently it is registered with Jhelum number and i am living in Islamabad from last 5 years.

Almost twice in a week Thulla's at naakaas stops me after watching over number plate, ask "kidher ja rahay hyn" and when I show them office card they said "Ye kis jaga hai" and etc etc.. I just want to get rid of this

Can I replace registration number to Islamabad?

You can apply for Islamabad registration number without any problems.

visit Jehlum ETO office get an NOC for transfer of registration & the complete file.
Goto Islamabad office fill out paper work and submit original file with NOC from Jehlum ETO office. You will get Islamabad number & fresh regn book.

Ensure the taxes are cleared upto date when applying at Jehlum ETO office. Arrive at 10.AM and engage an agent outside Jehlum ETO office by 3 PM everything will be in order if you use right color picture of Jinnah saheb.

Above is valid only if car is in your name other wise it is different procedure

He lives is saudia arabia and I am using his car.

What will be the procedure in this case?

if you have CNIC copy of your elder brother and he allow transfer to your name then sign a transfer letter from your brother to your name and visit ETO Jehlum.

Jinnah saheb color picture will help along, ETO Jehlum will transfer the car in your name and NOC will be issued with file returned may be 2 working days if right number of pictures are used wisely.

once file and NOC in hand goto Islamabad ETO and again use right color pictures with complete documentation

@OP, Adding to what Capsat said, iguess your presence isnt also important, Some documents, tax clearence etc might be required for this you might not have to go to Jehlum, Some relative can also get it done for you through the agents.

Transfer fee as mentioned by ETO Islamabad office is 1200 Rs for less than 1000 cc engine

ap nai buzurgwar ki baat ghour sai nahi parhi gari ap k nam mai ho gi tou ap ko NOC mil sakta hai warna nahi

my question was can i get the car transferred to my name + transfer of registration to islamabad in one visit? n can it be done if i dont go myself?
cox the seller will be going there to get the transfer done on my name

according to the website, the only cost of getting islamabad number on it will be just Rs. 2000?
