Change or repair the shocks - Suzuki Swift 2017

Hi,
I'm going to fix the front shocks problem. But confused, what should I do?
Repair (The original one) the current shocks?
OR
Replace the current shocks with the new Gabriel company's shocks.?

Please suggest the best option.

What does OEM mean? For now budget is the main factor.

If budget is issue then don’t replace them now you can wait a bit and buy brand new ones. Don’t go for repair or kabli etc

In my opinion, go for repairing of original ones instead of buying Kabuli.

I have repaired multiple times of multiple cars while also tried Kabuli + OEM so telling you

I've repaired few cars shocks from someone in pindi and they performed pretty well.

Before anything go personally to parts market and check price of new ones made by agri autos. They would probably be cheaper then repairing and kabuli ones being quoted by your mechanic.

Go for replacement with new ones made in pakistan. They come with atleast 1 year replacement warranty.

I think these shocks are not for the front. I have called the distributor of agri autos. And he said that front shocks are not available.

If you goto market you should be able to find front ones aswell.

At plaza, it was available in 16K so above price raised my eyebrows.

If suspension guy is skilled and professional, he can repair it exactly as per OEM, all repairing depends upon skills and professional tools.

Repair is not the solution. Shocks become really hard and damage the suspension parts later on. Its better to get brand new absorbers.

You're right brother but I've tested all the champion ustaads in past decade. But reached to the conclusion that the comfort and smooth drive is only possible in brand new absorbers.

Okay. So I'm going to replace it with Gabriel shocks. Suzuki Showroom's team recommend me Gabriel Shocks by discussing their mechanic/kharadiya, because originals are out of my budget.

KYB are the japanese manufacturer for Suzuki Swift Front shocks. They are reliable and good quality.

Suzuki have stopped using Japanese KYB shock since 2014. They are getting made from china.
