Regarding the problems you mentioned, for speedometer and fuel gauge, you should visit some expert meter s repair krnay wala rather than any normal electrician. Local electricians usually don't repair meters and fuel gauges.

Ahaan good to know. Regarding mechanical problems, I'll suggest to visit Shamim/Yasir near Peerwadhai Mor. Regarding electrical work, visit Shahzad in I-10.
I'll suggest you to please avoid local mechanics at any cost otherwise they will destroy your ride. Must visit some chevy expert mechanics only for any sort of mechanical work.
You can give my reference to both of these persons I mentioned above, they know me quite well and lemme know here if you have any other problem in maintenance of your car. have a nice ride

I had an accident on suzuki gs150 3 months ago. had multiple fractures. I am recovering now at a steady pace. To travel to work etc i needed a ride. I got this car Chevrolet exclusive for 2.5lac. The indicators and security system was a mess right indicator was continuously blinking (I guess security system malfunction). So i just got it disconnected and i am looking for some one to fix it over the coming weekend as i am usually at work. I went for alignment yesterday and they told me Hisay ka kam hai (and aperantly hissa k kam wali sounds bhe aa jati on bumpy roads and turns). Who will be the best one to fix it and from where should i get it done. Apart from this the car is in running condition. If you can give me the location of Shahzad i will go there in saturday. Regarding Yasir Sb I went there yesterday but he was out i had to wait for an hour and then i left. Another thing which bothers me is when i turn the steering the clutch vibrates. Interior is good there is rust on one door which is repainted after accident.

Also if you are in Islamabad/Rawalpindi. I will appreciate if you can spare some time and take a look at the car and guide me on all the work that has to be done to restore it to original or near to original condition.

Sad to know about your accident. Hopefully you'll be recovering rapidly, may you get well soon. 2.5k is perhaps the lowest amount I came to know for any chevy in twin city. May i know more details like model, registration, any defect like duplicate copy, etc? I'm afraid about your ride experience if you failed maintaining your car. These are really amazing rides but needs bit extra care. I've seen some people criticizing this car just because they'd bought quite bad conditioned car and failed maintaining it properly which led to extreme dissatisfaction. I wish you may have fantastic experience with your ride and may both of you (you and your ride) have speedy recovery

Regarding electrical work, please see my original post at top, I've mentioned details with contact number of Shahzad; that electrician. Give him my reference (with my white Chevy). Workshop name is i think Shahzad Autos, at Street#2, in I-10:

Right now yasir and shamim are the best mechanics I found for chevy only in twin cities. Must visit them for all mechanical work if you really want to recover your car and keep it in genuine condition.

Your support is much appreciated. The vehicle is exclusive ls 2005. Islamabad Number Just got it transferred onto my name. One Major fault is that the car was repaired after and accident Right side fender and door (I also assume that pillar was also affected but not sure.) It has electrical work. indicators back wiper. back lights. Right power Window gets stuck which needs to be fixed. There is rust on one door (Front right the one which was repaired.) No audio or CNG is in there (sold by the last owner). I will be taking out the car for necessary work this weekend. If you are free and want to have a look it will be my pleasure. Massawar Hanif (03005260892 Available at F-5/1 in weekdays. Evening and Weekends i am usually at Sohan, near Faizabad or at I-9) The car is running. I am travelling to office on the same but it needs a review and serious work on it. Engine light has also turned on since yesterday and i assume tuning will be required. The car has genuine book and is in good shape (interior) and needs work exterior. I just saw on pakwheels offered after asking a friend who runs showroom the guy accepted and i bought it without giving a second thought.

Yeah that amount is too less, i think it would be right deal if you successfully be able to restore the car. For good engine performance and smooth drive, I'll suggest you to keep it without CNG.

i just bought Chevy Joy yesterday. It was good but I've been driving it in rain continuously and now suddenly its missing in low rpm in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear.
Are the plugs to blame ?

P.S its my 1st ever chevy car

Regarding 1st ever chevy car, this isn't the case with you only rather all of us here are riding our first chevys

Regarding missing issue, there might be different reasons, most probably old plugs, tuning (if car's tuning is due), bad quality plug cables, etc. Another popular reason is when the water goes inside distributer after car wash or raining. Visit Yasir in Pirwadaee mor or Shahzad in I-10 for the solution, that's not a big issue. Contact details of both Yasir & Shahzad are mentioned above.

Feel free to ask or share any info regarding chevy here.

Thanks a lot for the quick response. I am pretty worried.
So if water going in distributor is known reason then I think this might be the case. Cause as i mentioned earlier, i kept driving it in rain. The car was about 10 hours in continuous rain even when parked.
So can you please tell me where is this Distributor in the car hood?

P.S would be super great if you could send me your number cause I am a lay man when it comes to car mechanical issue and i get confused and panic easily. Mostly cause of financial issue
