You want to fix engine for a problem caused by gear only to have same problem repeated again. It is things like these that customers keep coming back to you and you have your monthly profits

Im not trying to put you down bro. I own this vehicle since 2008 and have had extensive research. I have even visited HACP and have been told in detail of the problem.

I ALSO know that my problem will repeat sometime down the future as transmission design is faulty here. There is no permanent fix to this model but i tried the last step and it has resolved my problem.

In brief.
The knocking in varios due to faulty transmission will do this

1. Due to knocking it will first cause your engine mounts to go bad 3X faster as more knocking means more wear and tear of mounts.

2.. A mechanic may see soft mounts and diagnose that as the knock problem. Undue expense.

3.. . It will cause engine to get weak due to undue load being put by transmission. Mechanic will advise undue engine work.

4....discomfort due to the knock with AC in D and R.

So it is not just about the disocmfort it starts a chain of events. If you fix the symotom you are wasting money. Fix the transmission or swap with VTEC aseembly if you wish to keep car for long.

This is not valve body, valve body is inside transmission.

You know before criticizing some one and using the word mechanic please do some study work.

The case of your can be fixed under 30k as we had to disassemble the whole valve body and service it main pressure regulator gets stuck in it.
I regularly do service the valve bodies and maintain all kind of cvt trannies.
The thing is no one is willing to pay such a labor for this specific job they prefer to go toward the junk so I don't force them to do it. And now I had completely left the Hondas auto and cvt trannies and I no longer service them. So always study the person's experience before making fazool comments. So I totally forgive you as you are respected Syed. Next time please be careful.

Abdullah bro your issue is very similar to my issuein corollax, I spent around 1 week find the issue as the engines gets old they lose compression which could be cause of bad valve, coils and pistons..so i got head valves changed n the issue vanished.

Trust me i spent 400k on my civic prosmatec 2005 2 years ago.

I spent above 200k on vario.

I swear people do spend money on their cars if they are guided rightly. In pakistan different people say diff things and it confuses the customer so he goes to tom dick and harry.

I have always gotten work done by 3S and have had really good terms with owner of a 3S so always get proper time and diagnosis.

The junk yard market is limited to jdm parts. Very few pkdm parts which are damaged itself. So you can only use generic jdm parts on pkdm cars. Some parts do not fit in pkdm or are missing as a whole.

A good workshop owner is always a mechanic aur ager kissi ko sharm ya bura lagay mechanic kehlwanay may apne app ko tau usko gaariyo ka kaam chor dena chahiye.

And also a person who owns a vario and has fixed it after multiple research and spending huge money will have better experience to fix problem by proper diagnosis.

If you replaced the top hat piece that is found in the honda CVT, its called the solenoid pack, In classic honda designing their automatics have several valve bodies (even shifting ones) - the main pressure control valve body is inside the transmission and controls the pressure applied to the sheave cones. The top piece is the "low pressure" part which controls flow to the actual main pressure body (just like any other CVT).

The engine getting weak by the CVT is a first.. I repair automatics and I have never ever seen a transmission kill an engine. - Its quite odd that you say that, unless you mean something else as engine load.

The engines in these cars are more than capable of completely destroying these little cartoon CVTs - (their start clutch burns off first) - that is why the system defaults to limp mode and the start clutch deapplies as soon as catastrophic misfire is detected.

The technical team and r&d of HACP said that this transmission puts load on engine due to belt slip. Due to this the mounts go bad and if knocking persists the engine does get weaker as proved by compression tests over long term knocking due to tranny.

I am not going to challenge your knowledge but one problem with tranny causes a chain reaction over long term usage if not fixed.

Second.. Mere praaa my money my car. If i want to restore an old car made in 2007 i have the right. That is why people spend millions in restoring classic cars, theyre stupid too right?

Some people dont have 35 - 40 lacs to buy new cars or new tech so theyd rather spend a good 3 lacs on making sure the car is porblem free for the next 3 to 5 years buddy. I dont wanna sell my cars so i repair them.

Third you just gave me so much time without me asking for it. I dont like people who work on cars make money off repairing cars and then get offended when theyre called mechanics. I wouldnt even pay a rupee for this kinda time where you want to mess with my engine. Take care buddy.

The morons at atlas had done a wrong Diagnostics. Why did they not serviced the high pressure valve body?
They should have tear it down and should perform the complete service instead of wasting your precious money. A good diagnoser is a person who saves their clients money on wrong parts installation. Kheir leave it I am happy that you are satisfied with the repair job you had carried out.

But frankly brother they should service it rather then changing it. But dealerships here are more diverted to parts replacement then rectifying the issue.
