Same chassis of corolla in usa has a larger subframe under the engine, is lower slung, has rear drum brakes and lug centric 5 lug wheels and the alignment spec is different too, so is the wheel offset.

If there is a superficial difference you need to find more deeper what else is different in the build.

E.g. mazda atenza (global) and mazda 6 (usa) have a lot of differences which are easily mistaken; and some people who downloaded the euro service manual for those cars get into trouble due to differences in data. They have difference in tire size too.

This doesnt state two different sizes for front and rear but tells to use 30 psi air pressure on front / rear

The two sizes mentioned are for the two different variants of the same car that can have the mentioned sizes.

You're right my b14 even with such wide tires isn't giving me steering hard feel neither it has banging too hard on potholes. But not every car has same suspension. Like if i do this in my other car Suzuki liana it would bang pretty hard on potholes.

Is there anyone who can help with car defoggers/defrosters? I have a 98 Civic d15b Manual and as you all know winter is here, defoggers are required almost all the times specially in early morning and after evening and I am facing a lot of issue.

The issue is, when I tap the front defogger switch vent, somehow the air finds its way towards the foot-side vents and some of the air keeps coming from the main dashboard vents but a very little air passes through the actual defogger vents. So, what could be the issue here?

As far as the rear defogger is concerned, I am pretty sure they would be dead already since we know how useful they'd be considered in Pakistan.

Any help would be appreciated.

First you need to confirm the operation of mode control motor, this is a five position motor which controls the movement of doors inside the heater box, thereby changing the direction of incoming air from the blower.
In KOEO (key on engine off) position, listen to the moment of heater doors as you select different positions on the heater panel.
To verfiy the wiring and integrity of connections, you can trace the ground signal on each position (when you select a particular position on the panel, that specific point is grounded on the motor).
If the motor is in working state and you can hear the changing sound of the doors inside the heater panel but still the air don't reach vents then probably air is leaking from the doors, this happens when the foamy layers on the doors deteriorates with the passage of time and can't seal properly or there is a chance something has fallen inside which is restricting the movement of the doors.

For testing the rear defogger you need a multimeter, first check 12v on the end connectors (defogger switch in ON position). This test will verify that the defogger switch, fuse, relay and wiring are all in good state.
Next step is to test each defogger line for breakage, attach negative probe of multimeter to negative connector of the defogger circuit and touch the positive probe on the center of each line. If it reads ~6v in the center, that particular line is intact, if it reads 12v there is a break towards the negative-supply voltage side on that particular line, if it reads 0v there is a break towards positive-supply side on that particular line.

Few week ago someone mentioned me hondish scanner but it's really hard to get delivery in Pakistan. I am looking for scanner which also works on advance car (now a days) also works with my Civic97

Need some help as I would be keeping this car for a long time
Have question regarding upgrades in suspension engine swap DOHC will swap the engine with another one when i feel I should change the car will keep it for a long time!!
