i checked it already in night time on highway a-lot or in winter needle stays slightly below the mid level, and when i turn on AC it goes again back to upper middle. what needs to be done now please help ?
is it possible that i need to change gasket again ?
Check if thermostat valve is working properly ? Fluctuating needle position is a clear indicator that thermostat valve is either not installed or is stuck at open position.
fan is direct so i guess no thermostat valve is install, do i need to install thermostat valve even if fan is direct?
Its normal if you have thermostat installed. Direct fan will cause it to take long time reach middle. But eventually it will reach middle of the guage
This happens because of some ground and electrical issues generally
I am also driving with auto fan and thermostat installed in full daytime hot weather of Karachi. My temp reaches 97° on my scanner and then fan turns on. Also I am using AC.
so are you suggesting i should let the electrician check it ?
Dear All AoaI have a budget pf 8 to 8.5Looking for a CIVIC in peshawar in very good condition.
If you have some tools and multimeter you can check yourself easily
how much is the approx stock fuel pump cost? where to buy in khi?
Shafeeq Mor... aprox 2500rs
Nowadays very economical fuel pumps are coming ranging from 1,500 to 3,000 while Kabuli, you can get in 2,500 to 3,500 as per condition
You shouldn't go for used part
Actually I need kabuli. I upgraded to walbro 255 & threw away the stock one. Now my AFRs are disturbed, car runs too rich, i believe its bcoz of extra fuel pressure due to bigger pump
Fuel pressure regulator controls the pressure. You can even use 355lph. Fpr should be responsible for the pressure or until your return line or tank breathing system doesn't got any restriction.
Replace fuel pressure regulator
I don't think its the fpr. I've set fpr at 30psi where as stock fuel pressure for my engine is 44psi. On WOT AFRs are perfect but on idle, cruise or low throttle it runs rich. I believe its either the injectors as they need to spray less or its the tune which needs to pull back short term fuel trims.
These cars work on variable fuel pressure. Not constant like news ones with single feed line. Connect the vacuum hose to external/aftermarket fpr.
How are you able to check AFRs?? Did you installed a wide band O2 sensor aftermarket?
