Civic 1999-2000 conversion from manual to cvt multimatic gear

I had been thinking of doing civic 1999- 2000 manual to cvt multimatic tranny conversion for a while. So Recently after having an accident when the car was in the workshop I decided to go ahead with the mini project.

Existing setup
Car pkdm 1999 civic
D15b dual VTEC engine manual tranny with p2j-j11 obd2b ecu (jdm)

Targeted setup
D15B dual VTEC cvt m4va tranny with p2j-j71 obd2b pcm (jdm) along with engine wiring.

After consulting alot of people i.e mikanek, Efi wiring wale famed cocky dudes at pindi islu and peshor and kabarhie from shoba and sultan ku I came to conclusion that I had to do the wiring part my self as every tom dick Harry was of the view k ye setup nahi ho sakta or hm ne pehle bhi koshish ki ha or nakami hui ha and that I should give up on this project. Some were of the view that the gear wouldn't start even if the whole wiring was swapped from the jdm of similar model.
I went ahead with the project and installed the gear with all its modes running successfully. It was all a game of 10 wires from pcm.

Well so far no issues except for a whining noise from the gear in reverse and slightly less whining in forward drive. Will replace it with a good one as was the original deal. By the way the gear is cheap costs around 8 to 10k. Even if disposed of to kabarhie sells off for around 6k on weight base. So I think replacement at any time is not a big deal.

Any person with a little knowhow can do it. I will post the ecu pinouts that are related to E and S mode selection switch and the differences from a manual for North American Honda Civic manual available for free online. Also the econo light indicator pins In-sha-Allah. Any one interested should Go for 1999-2000 civic setup as the pcm does everything and less hassle involved.

Salam. Do you have that P2j-J11 ECU with you?

I being a novice, swapped D15B dual vtec in my civic 1999 D16y8. Only assembly. Mechanic didn't informed me that for Vtec to kick in I need a matching ecu and wiring. Currently, I'm running my car with stock ECU of D16Y8 and fuel average is not that good. Can you please help me in this. I'm based in Lahore. Thanks.

Yes I do have the ECU along with uncut complete wiring. But I m not sure how much is it gonna improve the fuel economy. When I was running this setup my car used to give between 10.5 to 12 kmpl in urban driving with Ac on all the time and casually without focusing on the goal of achieving economy. On long route m1 and m2 or gt road14 to 18 depending upon the speeds and The Tyre configuration. 18 could only be achieved running without Ac and with stock Tyre width and speed of 90-100.

I know nothing about d15y5. J62 is a jdm ecu for dual vtec needs tcm. I.e obd2a setup. I m attaching the pinouts and wiring scheme of m4va for usdm. It has Mode S but no E. You have to sort out urself the E it will be there on the tcm of jdm or southeast asian models. U can just match the colours of wires on both the tcm, mode selection connector and speedo connector for e and s

Once d starts blinking the tcm switches to fail safe mode. E and s stops functioning
