I believe you can find the severed wires, if the connector is really missing.
While breakng the car at junkyards, labourers pull the wiring through car's crevices and sometimes end in damaged and missing connectors. On the other hand, the junkies who sell these parts sometimes cut and sell connectors separately.
That's why I am confident you will find the loose end wires, if not the complete connector and probably you won't need to re-wire the SCS connector all way back to the ECU.

No, you won't need that. Hopefully, you will find both the wires of SCS (Brn and Grn/ Wht) hidden in the wiring loom around ECU.

No idea about it. I bought the car as is. The only thing I liked about the car was the double wishbone suspension ultralight steering wheel and double wishbone suspension

civics all the way from 1988 to 2001 had double wishbone suspension too.

He means sensor ground. But internally they all have common junction. Ecu provides separate sensor ground wire for all 5v sensor to make analog signals separate from any kind of noise in body ground. But actually they are same thing.

I find Civics suspension is a bit stiff. Accord has a very soft suspension I hardly slow down on speed breakers

Yes, curb weight. Between accord was a luxury sedan from Honda. Civic was more like mid range.

Galant was the same league as accord it weighs 1600kgs

Compare same generation cars. Same year galant will have similar weight. Same year civic would be lighter so does lancer.

Hmm. But How do these cars have a heavy feel then? I think they are better than new cars they weight less but have a more stable and heavy driving feel. You can get good fuel average too as they are not heavy

That heavy feel is a sign of underpowered engine. Drive a civic with h22 you will feel car to be very light for that engine or if you go lower drive e80 corolla with 5afe. Even that's just 110hp.
And the feel of that stability is due to double wishbone suspension. Why do you think civic is famous for only vtec? No
New cars are equipped with newer technology and much more complex. Yet provides more comfort.
But I personally like the old straight lines body them new curve ones.

No no no! By heavy feel I meant how the suspensions responds and the way the car glides. Power and Vtec are the last thing I would consider in a car. All i car about is low end torque and a soft suspension. For me if you really do want to rev a engine try a mc14e.

The suspension springs and struts are extremely soft on this car, thats why you feel it glide.

btw - you will have to redo the entire front and rear rubber bushings, about 22 in total to get the original drive quality, its not too wallowy - but does wallow and dive a lot compared to modern cars. And if you wanted torque, why did you remove the old engine? Its all about torque.

Its also quite small compared to modern cars.

I bought it as is. I wanted one with original engine and auto tranny but couldn't find one in a good condition. Also someone told me its engine parts are very hard to find now.

Suspensions seems to be good now. There is no unusual sound I think the the rear shocks might need replacement as the car height is lower from the backside. I like the wallowy drive I usually drive it at 50-70 max. There a problem with the brakes. The rear left tyre always seizes upon a little hard braking.

Small as in the cabin or the outer dimension? Outer dimensions are bigger than many sedans. Cabin is also very roomy.
