Aoa! I want to change tyres in my civic x, please recommend a better tyre in terms of comfort and fuel economy.
Also is it okay if i stick with factory default General BG Luxo tyres? Kindly guide me.

You may look for Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, and if expensive, then Pirelli.

If want fuel efficiency the Michelin Energy saver / Energy Saver + series, Bridgestone Ecopia series, etc.

You can conti use using BG. There are people who are using it.

What about Yokohama Blu earth? I’m using them in 3rd Gen Prius and they’re really good tyres. Will they be good enough for Civic?

I think they’re not that much bad bro, but no doubt inferior to reputable brands.

Bhai ..in my last 13 years of driving experience, never found them justifying the quality they claim. City was absolutely horrible to drive with eutostars...and so is civic...they changed name to bg kuxo but kartoot nhn badlay. Phatta kind of tyre hai..road feel nhn watta feeling hi ati hamesha

Change the tyres to enjoy the ride. Try continental for a change they r pretty soft

If they are working good in Prius, for sure, they would work perfectly fine in Civic too, IN SHA ALLAH, however, in my opinion, Michelin and Bridgestone are still better than Yokohama, especially Michelin.

Bg luxo will get too hard and noisy in few thousand kms. Rest is your choice.

I mean BGs might be a bit harder and a bit noisier but thats why they are cheaper its good value for money if you are just looking to get a new set of tires.
I drove my black X on BGs for a good 55-60k I think , spent like 23k and got a new set, now my cars good for another 50.

Way back when I used to change Euro Stars on corollas on day 1 with better tires( it would cost 14k in 2015 to get 195/65/r15 Advan Dbs , on top of new euro stars) , but when my civic X came in 2016 back then shop keepers were asking something like 50-60k on top of BGs for 16'' tires (Good brands) , So automatically I was like these BGs aint that bad, so kept using them.
And when the time came got another set of BGs.
