Cleaning carpet my second D.I.Y

Today i started my project of cleaning carpet of my ride.
I own a 98 Khyber.
I wana share some of the pics wid you.
Removing amplifier which i have just installed a few days back.

i m waiting till morning to dry the carpet then finalize project when in install it back in place. The under carpet surface was very much dirty and it take 3 hours to clean it using brush, wet cloth, towel and above all a blower...........

thats lot of work....I did the same thing a a year ago on 1981 Corvette, took the seats and all 10 yards.....car is still parked without seats and panels...hope I get it done this year....let me know how your project going.....

today i completed the project.

unable to take pics bcz i was in a hurry in the morning and need to complete early as possible. but its lookin very well inside my ride i m having a neat and clean interior in my ride

Nice (Y), my driver n I clean the car fully with removing seats & all once a year. Never took pics though, is similar to hte khyber when seats out

BasicallyI just need to unplug the wire for the drivers seat belt light, and then the seat is fully out...

Will take pics next time Insha Allah --! Both Civic & Rolla.

From 1984 to 1989 Corvetts are going as low as $5000. ....... they change the shape in 84 to 89... and these modles dont worth a dime....

buddy i need to ask you something .

When you took out the carpet did you found out holes from where the water can come in . I also own a khyber but even driving for 10 min in rain water comes in from the passenger side . Would appreciate if you can tell me how much time will it take for me to take out the carpet n seat together with any tools that i may need ??

Yes there were 4 holes in the floor and you can easily fix it by pulling the carpet.
it take 5 to 6 hours to complete
all you need
key for opening nut of seat belt
and other commen tools screw driver etc
nothing special needed

@somi1981:- The water although comes when driving in water which i closed by 2 back new rubber holes . The previous ones were badly in shape . Also standing in rain the water enters the passenger side . Took a good look at the windscreen but the glass was firmly fixed although my windscreen is not original one but it was fixed firmly . Next i suspected the water drainage area below the wipers . Could they be the reason . Also i see that you have placed 3 more hole covers on the side walls of your car too . Can water enter from there ?? . I dont think water can enter from the doors since the top plastic foam is also wet so i do suspect either from windscreen or from area below the wipers . What do you suggest ??

i stripped my vitz in 1-2 hours a while back (but for different reasons) but while it was out i cleaned the carpet as well. made a huge difference. i suggest anyone with a 5 year old car shoudl get it done for sure.
