CNG related problems

If we unplug the grip of advancer while car is start, should it be shut down or remain start,
I have change my advancer,(previous one was totally rusted and circuits was not visible on the board) and mechinic unlug the grip while care is start and it remain started, means he removed the advancer and install new one and car was remain start, the LED blinks in new advancer when he give race.

but I dont think advancer is doing any job in my car because if I remove the advancer car behaviour remains the same. I have RPM drop problem on CNG. I went to mechinic due to this problem and he found that advancer is totally rusted and then changed it but didnt tell me that why car remains start when he removed the advancer.

this mechinic also close the air with tape after closing the air more then half rpm drop problem is solved on CNG but now on petrol I have starting problem and some time it back fired. I am totally against blocking air in EFI cars.

Plz guide me is this advancer working in my car or mechinic just installed it. and connections are direct. this is some NecTec advancer. and car is Altis 05.

if u unplug the cable from advancer car should shut down. is it converting the car correctlt on cng?

Yes it is converting the car correctly from petrol to CNG, I baught this car as it is, and I think the advancer was faulty, and owner didnt told me, it was full of water when mechinic opened it. i think wiring is direct from backend somewhere. whats your opinion btw.

Need help regarding tuning on CNG, the one idle adjusting valve marked below, in which direction it should increase supply and vice versa, it goes inward when rotated clockwise...

Trust you are doing fine, I saw your comments and thought you might be able to advise me too.

I have a 2006 Santro, FF CNG, mileage is 58 K and am facing few issues.

1. pick on CNG is not great, and drive feels a bit heavy too.
2. the sound of engine is not very smooth, and its sounding louder than it used to do earlier.
3. I also want to have my suspension & brakes checked for preventive maintenance.

The fuel economy on CNG and general mechanical condition of car/engine are fine.

I would appreciate if you could recommend a workshop and some possible solutions to these problems too.

P.S: I am based in Islamabad, and not a big fan of Hyundai workshop in I-10 and their experts.

Check out your spark plug wires, i suggest change them put high conductivity

Problem with Honda City 2005

The problem started when my car was doing missing on CNG and on Petrol. I took it to the mechanic - Hussain Autos - and the guy told me that the problem is with the tool which stops petrol once CNG is turned on (don't remember what do they call it). I got it changed from them and since then the Car is missing on CNG when I turn on A/C at low RPM. No missing on Petrol with or without A/C and no missing on CNG without A/C. I went to the same mechanic and he told me that the car needs tuning, I got it tuned but the problem persists.

Can anyone suggest me what to do.

cng supply getting direct . means even when i convert the car on petrol the gas supply doesnt stop. is this the problem of the solenoid valve or the switch. Kindly help

guys i was having some trouble on CNG..its 02 city auto..whenever i brake the car seems to almost shut down ..but when i put it in N or P ..it turns off ..RPM is almost dead

today..changed plugs, air filter ..got it tuned ..

worked fine all day till i just reached home and noticed that on IDLE it misses ..like constant ..a missfire every second
..
also changed the manual T joint typo thing to electronic ..

i dont have advancer and emulator in my car..so the guy recommended me some advancer and emulator..and said it has 1 yr free replacement warranty and will cost 6k including labor..
should i go for it?

he said the it increase effeciency by 15 perc..and pick by 25 perc and bla bla ..is it all true ..do i need to get them installed?

i had somewhat similar problem like hrn said..
when i shifted to petrol ..it missed like 10 11 times..then its okay
he said when you shift to petrol..the CNG is in line..and it mixes..its a minute amount..and in these miss fires its burned..then its all smooth
so on this regard i changed that thing..some joint, which was manual now iv installed electronic..in 1300

AOA,

I have corolla 93 on CNG with LR kit and 55kg tank. The car does only 90kms on full tank, secondly when used on petrol you can see the fuel guage going down with black smoke from exuast.

Pls guide what is wrong.

ive got 95 civic but its modified n got a D-15 V-tec engine n Hp inake....ive got problem with CNG at low rpm...it givs jerks at low rpm even in 2nd r 3rd gear...

Do tell me if your problem is solved . bcz my cousin civic 2003 also has no advancer in his car.

I am a new member... I have a problem with my Honda Civic 95.

Since a few days, I had noticed that when I started the engine in the morning (its getting quite cold in the mornings in RWP)... the rpm immediately falls and the engine would stall. I could start on petrol and after a 15-20 minutes convert to gas and it would be fine... also when I drove on the Islamabad in the 5th gear for a stretch... the rpm would again fall sometimes to almost zero... in traffic it is OK again at around 1000 rpm.

Took it to my gas mechanic and he adjusted the gas... No change !
Took it to my engine mechanic and he adjusted the tappits & cleaned the plus... NO change !
On my next visit the engine mechanic he reduced the rpm... No change !
New problem after that... when I start the engine from cold (morning and nights on gas and petrol both) the engine starts... stays in low rpm for a few minutes than all of a sudden the rpm shoots up to 2000-2500... stays there till 15-20 minutes and then stabilizes again...

this happens only in the morning and evenings... not during the day.
Otherwise no problem with pick or consumption or starting (half self start)

Does anyone have any idea whats going on ?

have recently purchase Khyber model 91. LandiRanzo kit is installed. In the morning when i start the ride it take too much time. CNG switch lights blink very dim and after 5-7 minutes ride start. But during this 5 mints time a sound like sparking comes but nothing smell of anything. If I want to convert it on petrol for starting during this 5- 7 mints, it doesn't. Today I check the wiring beneath ride staring and found that there is a small cylinder type thing and wiring in the top of that cylinder was too hot and even i was unable to toch that cylinder. After start up, ride creates no problem and easily converts on petrol and CNG switch stops that sparking sound and blinking.. My ride battery is excellent and no current problem is there.
I believe CNG experts will help me in this matter.
