I would recommend visitors going from islamabad to use japan road rather taking sihala road from kaak bridge if going on cars, we made this mistake not taking japan road though i discussed with emmaar but then unintentionally we descended from kaak bridge as it was our meet point,the road is under construction these days and their are many bad patches on the road,in between bad patches, recently metaled pieces also come and go,you can not maintain a fair speed upto kahuta.

such bad patches are a real test of your car's suspension,annoys much, these long patches.
