no, we got that carb opened four times before we gave up
i found my new tuner (i love to call him that :P) after the carb was swapped, he straightened the linkages with a rubber hammer, cleaned it and lubricated the moving parts, fixed the pipe connections and tuned it.
i have been a happy margallar ever since
the thing is that i tried two 3s dealers, magic motors and a desi workshop. no one could fix it. no one knew what they were doing. they were merely parts swappers.
i took interest in my friend's carb repair,so i could get some idea to find out what was wrong, his power piston was not making a a good seal which was causing the power valve to work too early, cleaning my own carb at home, i realised that cleaning with petrol is never going to work.
carburetor's are simple but they take time to repair, local workshops don't give it that.
my friend's power valve problem was diagnosed with a vacuum tester, i have yet to see any workshop that uses that.
you will be amazed that the 3s dealer connected the vacuum advance to a vacuum pod on the carb, they plugged the hot idle compensator pipe with a screw.
the new carb was supposed to be used with a charcoal cannister, these guys removed the plate from the old carb and installed that on the new carb, they removed the charcoal canister mechanism.
the new carb hat had no vent holes apart from that, now it is difficult to convert to cng.
my point is that the chance of good fuel average from a carb that is repaired by these local butchers is very little
