Comparision Between a Carby Cultus & Efi Cultus

AoA all, hope u are all doing good..

so here comes the papa of cultus SA310 or G10a or my khyber( also own 1.8 altis but i love this car)

so here are the details:
bought in 1999 for 4 lac 5 k grov green color...

first owner
brake pads changed twice
mileage 1 lac 3k
engine oil change every 2k or some time max 3k
timing belt bearing and adjuster belt changed at 99k (officially at 100k)
clutch plate pressure plate changed at 100k
G10a is a horse i just love it.......will post pics of engine soon
moreover the built quality is far far better even than my altis....like im a materials engineer n i can see that the plastics such as windscreen sealants, rubbers, chrome finish are of much higher grade...

P.S i knw its a cultus page but G-series was discussed so...moreover the efi engine is more powerful n efficient...

It was Cultus VXL,
The Sports variant came in Suzuki Baleno, as it was having 1.6l engine.

we had one having SPORT badge.. i thought it is converted but i have seen similar 2 other models of the same year i.e 2004.

that ***** is still there, i was waiting for it to get dark so i could see, tomorrow i will replace the coil wire to confirm, though i tried three old wires and the problem was occuring with all of them

However I do remember the term Sport associated with Cultus. I think it had a CD player and some other stuff as well but can remember exactly.

@OP you need to change the mechanic. a person who cannot fix a head gaskit properly to last 1 season how can he be a mechanic, I can do a better & quality job with one extra pair helping hands without any doubt. check your PM .

Also when you come close to finish comparing all other important aspect technically, do compare the Audio Player as well.

I have used couple of players with time (although not as much as most enthusiasts have)

But uptill now, none could come close to the FM reception, FM noise free-playback & clarity as this little chap by Automate. This was supplied in Cultus uptill 2007

3 times (not exaggerated) in its service life, the accompanying passenger realized it was FM when the show host started talking after playing a title.

Now we had cultus for small time and I wasnt allowed to drive it like bought amd sold thing
But here is my experience of driving cultus of differnt models
2000 2001 2004 excellent brakes compared to new models ill come to that later on we had 03 for 1 week or so build quilty was better best one was 2001 model no rpm in it but it felt quality product
Then once one of my uncles handed over me keys to his company 07 vxl carby I drove it around ac was good brakes were oskish engine response was well it was heavy on cng ac but that signature sound of carb engine us k shoak mein I reved it to 6k rpm just for it ac was good in it btw I observed that between alto and cultus the ac alto has fast blower but it doesn't mean it will do better cooling like put altos blower on 4 and also cultus on 4 the cultus one will do better as alto has this it pulls hot air in cabin so best cooling is achived in alto is on 2 and 3 but on cultus its full is good too
Now one post I read 8 valves nops cultus carb has 6 alto has 8 as its 4 cyl amd low end torque matters just example I can cause around in alto 5th gear 1700rpm at 60 kph all day just a reference
Now comming to efi ones one of mt friend has 07 early efi he is just look and show shaw ka shooken rims drop thing
So his car comes alive after 4k and it kinds feels it has no low end at all he never cares for engine and on side note ab kaho ge pher alto lol jsut last ref has betan it in drag as his car is all show no gi
Brakes are bad on efi very very bad its like every time its just ab lagay ki ab lagay gi
Now another efi 10 model I came across again friends car ir has funny steering adjustment im 5.10ft tall and steering mery godon mein lagay like dude I done iridium plugs high quality wires in it
Now on test runs it also had bad bad brakes like dude wtf new cultus no brakes yah kiya hai seats felt un comfortable in newer models carby had better seats
That chaep steering wheel in new ones yuck
And reliable carb roks efi isnt that its like many times again alto yeh alto pher dal di any ways I tow efi cultus of my friends cng issues
So hope I didn't missed something now it depends on owners as how they kept it

apas ki baat, i think the carby cultus is capable of 14kpl with the correct tuning and driving, yani almost equivalent to efi.

i think the efi system of cultus is not as advanced if you compare with something like a vitz

agr aaps ki bat hi krni ha to let me tell u about mine 2007 carby,, with bad fuel settings*, unbalanced wheels, and with out t-valve, gives 14 kpl with a light foot
*fuel settings were disturbed when mechanic once serviced the carb, from that day it produces black smoke on petrol, but hopefully it will be solved in near future cz going for a specialist
can u tell me whether can we install advancer in carby engine or not??

we can install stap 00b, that will act the same way as an advancer.

most mechanics won't know about this, you can get it from suzuki dealers or cng shops if you are lucky, buy don't get anything other than stap 00b for cultus

Stap 00b is factory fitted in my cultus. Mechanics have a habit of d'recting it.

most of the retards don't know what it is supposed to do, i once mentioned installing an advancer in my margalla, most mechanics i met would say carburetor wali gari mai advancer nahi lagta.

if you somehow get it adjusted, you will find your car running much smoother on both fuels.

STAP is also known as Advancer among the Mechanics.
And yes, my 2006 carby cultus runs very very smooth on CNG even with AC on. It never made me feel like the car is under load.
