The government law states that the company should pay mark-up for each day in excess of the 2 months from the date of booking of the vehicle, irrespective of the actual committed time frame.
This means that you should get the markup for each day starting the 61st day upto the day of delivery of the vehicle.
I am not sure about of the rate though. But taking 6% as quoted by Spectra, your calculation (assuming you get the car on 30 November) should be something like....
Number of Days=119
Number of Days after 60 Days=59
Compound Interest on 59 days=0.946%
If car price is 1,399,000 then the total mark-up is Rs. 13,230.
I am not sure whether you will get it, but it would be useful calling up the Sales Department or Customer Services Department of Honda (not the dealer!) and enquiring about the process of getting the payment.
When you talk to them, just start off as if you are definitely getting the payment so that they are on the back-foot and you may be able to extract some information!
