yes that's always a risk. So I don't want to give my plans away too much.
An alternative option, if not able to sell, could be to give to a car hire company in Islamabad on contract. I saw this on a video by Azad Chaiiwala. Obviously that brings other risks as I'm sat here in UK and may car is given in Amaanat to a company several thousand miles away and o family in ISB to keep an eye on or resolve issues for me.
What I'm trying to find is a car easily available in UK, that can be sold in Pakistan, fairly easily.
I'm not that bothered about making large profit. But there needs to be enough margin for me to be able to drop price, if required, and still not make a loss. Hence C-HR, Sportage and Lexus CT200h stood out as quite expensive compared to prices here in UK.
but that's based on advertised price on PakWheels, on the basis they are realistically achievable.
I know Toyotas are popular in both Pakistan and UK. Both there's not many directly comparable models.
Your Corolla is different to ours. You have Sedan whereas ours are mostly hatchback.
We don't have trim levels such as GLi, XLi and I think Grande is your top one. We don't have a model called Altis.
Finally, check how helpful and & knowledgeable FBR 'HelpLine' are...
I email them soem very specific questions... they respond with a generic email about tax rates. Don't even read teh question.
One question I asked is what is defined as Asian Make (as per FBR policy Document). Their response... A Car Manufactured in Japan
So I've asked them if it was indeed a car manufactured in japan
a) the policy document would state that, instead of "Asian Make"
b) it excludes other Asian Makes such as Kia and Hyundai
c) what about Honda, Toyota & Nissan cars that are manufactured in UK, are they excluded?
quite poor judgement and trying to get information is like trying to get water from stone.
