Slaaam to all I have 1000 cc vitz 2008 I want to replace 1KR injen to 1300 injin suggest me n tell me all side effects like performance n excise problems
@rajaatta @dani_kk @syncview
is it ok to recommend 2SZ-FE complete with wiring harness & ECU to match the transmission
road tax will be higher and if the vehicle registration is under 10 years old WHT will also get revised to high slab.
i think 2szfe comes in 1300 cc 1szfe is of 1st gen 4 cylinder 1000 cc engine
yes your are right to point the typo. Thank you
2szfe are not very common now a days available ones are quite beaten up better option is to go fof 1nzfe what y say @dani_kk
FAW V2 is equipped with chinese variant of Toyota 2SZFE engine. n available at scrap yards as used engine
y not 2nzfe
Yes exactly wiring ecu is different of a 2szfe, same trans can be used.
2szfe are available commonly in clean condition but obviously not so much in numbers compared to 1nzfe
Thanks for suggestions but tell me after changing this what effects on car market or car price
no resale issue people prefer 1300 cc rather then 1000 cc if its properly done just find clean engine with uncut wiring and ecu one mount needs to be changed and u have to upgrade exaust rest will be stock
2NZ/1NZ was produced a lot more then 1SZ/2SZ. For going into 2SZ 1300cc vvti you need to have complete engine with its own cvt trans and complete wiring harness for trouble free experience.
Thanks
i dont think so both 1kr and 2sz uses same k410 cvt transmission its just if ur current transmission is in good nick replace the cvt oil with oem gaskit and do cvt oil pressure caliberation ur good to go
Contact Raja Atta if you’re in Twin Cities.
contact @dani_kk he is good with swaps and quite honest and quite ecnomical too contact atta if u want to rebuilt 1krfe he is good with that
He should swap the 2SZ if he wants but he should be ready for a heavy advance tax plus wht and token tax too. Where as 1.0 has a lifetime token with 0 what and advance tax. Or of he wants more power then he should go for 2nz or 1nz both have same tax category
2nz would be more sane choice given the fact that its parts and mechanics are available everywhere as it is coming in corolla for more than a decade now.
Yes as it is in every toyota vehicle and the mechanics plus parts shops have a lot of experience in them regarding the NZ series. Where as SZ series is becoming a painfull engine in terms of Brand New parts hunting I got stuck with 7 different vehicle rebuilds of SZ series. So better to keep with the NZ if someone wants more power and fun drive along with slight compromised fuel economy.
Yeah 1nzfe and you'll be killing new civics haha, it's fast, it gives you a 3sge beams like race feeling... In small hatch backs.. Like I did in charade 88, it is a rocket. Really quick.
