Respected Members,
Greetings.
I ve been facing the following issues in my corolla 2003 model converted from 2.od to 1NZ Fe petrol automatic:
1. At cold start, the car starts but the rpm drops significantly and the engine turns off. After 2 or 3 ignitions it manages to not turn off and remains on but at very low rpm
2. The rpm raises to normal after about 5 to 10 minutes when the engine gets a bit warm. Till the time rpm is in drop state the engine acts like what is called "phar pharanaa". Even the brake doesnot work properly during this time.
3. During the time of rpm drop, the car is reluctant to move. If throttle is pressed it would give a heavy "ghoon" sound and would move slowly. After about 4 or 5 seconds it would gain the pick. Again when throttle is released and again pressed it would do the same till the time engine reaches it normal operating temperature and the rpm is raised.
4. After getting properly warmed up the car is good to go but even at that time when throttle is pressed it responds to it after a delay of 1 or 2 seconds.
I have tried the following things but no luck:
1. Changed spark plugs
2. Changed fuel pump
3. Got the fuel injectors from local mechanic.
Any suggestions what could the problem be? Thank you in advance.
