You are rite. I was not at all interested in installing. It was like a sudden shift. Too much hassle and time wasted in sourcing stuff and wasted alot of time of stj174 but when everything was complete I did not felt like taking the time and getting it installed. Anyways, had nothing to do so thought what the heck. Took 4.5 hours and the system is now installed.
Power cable from the left, Speakers cables from centre console and RCAs from the right. All wires under the carpet and are hidden. Zero noise of any kind. Sub is being fed 240RMS at 8 OHMS. My review? The components are as expected. Sweet tweeter with amazing detail and clarity. Mid bass sucks as expected but I don't have to worry because I have a sub for that. Maybe mid bass would improve after break-in. Also doors have been dynamated with front sheet fully dynamated and rear sheet 1/5th dynamated at required points.
Wiring was pretty impressive and even the installer was going gaga over where I got it from.
Some finishing touches to tweeter placement (rite now the tweeter is stuck at 1 inch depth behind the stock altis tweeter grill) and midbass (midbass needs a spacer and double tape as it isn't properly installed) are advised by Nauman bhai which will be done asap.
Pictures will come soon.
Before this install I myself was questioning whether I made a mistake by going for a SQ system, as the songs I listen to are all SPL type material, but now I think I made the perfect choice and going forward InshAllah SQ all the way for me
