Corolla X 2002 (Japanese Model) 1NZ-FE Engine Swap

A.o.A pakwheelers, my corolla x 2002 engine is almost dead and i want to change it as soon as possible, plz guide me what to look in used kabli engine before buying one for my corolla i need 1nz-fe engine and i am living in peshawar, plz recommend me honest engine dealers in Shuba Bazar, Peshawar as it is almost full of crooks who are always in hunt of their pray and i heard that now a days they use some kind of cleaner with which they clean the oil cap area from which they say that the engine is in lush condition but in reality the engine could barely be used for about an year. Here in peshawar corolla engine 1nz-fe is available the range of Rs. 38000 (a bit rough in condition) to Rs. 50000 (crystal clear condition).

It is drinking oil and blowing hot gasses from the dipstick area the method i learned on youtube about checking the condition of engine. My car pick is totally gone and it is also stalling when cold. almost 3 mechanics checked my car engine all said that engine swap is urgently needed as your engine is going be dead very soon, all of them check its condition by taking out the oil dipstick while the engine is runing.

I know a trusted engine seller, his shop is located in Bismillah Market, Shoba bazar. But still its a good idea to check the engine thoroughly before hitting the deal. Its better to arrange a compression tester & check the compression of engines available in the market, this will make sure that you are getting a heathy motor.

R u sure 1nz-fe is available for 50k in prestine condition? Someone was quoting me 110-120k here in islamabad with auto transmission. I would suggest u to visit market urself first for price check and general condition of engines available thre in market. I hope someone helps u out but do try searching the market urself

Only Engine Assembly for about 50K. I myself bout water body from the same dealer. his shop is in bismillah market and his name ins Akbar Ali, he has two shops one is godown full of engine he deals in honda and toyota engines.

yeah I got my 7afe from him, and its been more than a year, that machine is serving me well.

Coincidentally, I am also visiting him this saturday for my swift's engine swap. Let's see, if any clean suzuki motors available with him or not.

Restoration of Corolla 1994 & 7afe Swap

Assalaam o Alaikum pakwheelers ! Posting my 1st restoration project here on pakwheels forum. Note that this is my first time experience about engine swap & body wise restoration. My main motivation to start this project is this forum & its members, who are really helpful. I was looking for a car with reasonable price & finally got this Toyota Corolla GL 1994 with its original 2E 12 valve engine running on petrol. Its appearance is not that good, color is faded & it feels hammering all around…

But once again, I am telling you, before finalizing any deal, kindly make yourself sure that you are buying a clean piece. If by any chance, you have doubts, just leave it.

If you have a trusted mechanic, ask him to join you for the engine hunt, bcz they are experienced in these regards & will help you buy a clean peice.

Brother today i found one mechanic seems to be honest he told me that i will go with you for buying engine and he told me that i can tell you how much kms the engine ran by checking the condition of tappets. Brother is it possible to tell about the usage of engine by just checking the tappets.

oil consumption of 500ml - 1 liter per 5000+ km for high milage engines in toyota is very common,. the member also missed to share any maintenance history since he own the vehicle.

blow back through oil dipstick could be result of clogged pcv valve

1nz with tranny is expensive,assembly 1nz is for 65 recently i bought one ,tranny was 28k

you mean that one can predict the approximate mileage of an engine just by inspecting the cylinder valves after removing the cylinder head cover.
