Cruise control in city 2010!

Hi fellows, well yesterday i was cleaning the interior of my 2010 honda city and guess wat i came across in the speedometer.....see the following picture and then check ur own city (all the owners of the new city). Right in the open space beside the "160 km/h" indication line....see the black background of the places i have encircled red....move ur head up and down...CRUISE CONTROL is written there. My Question is " Is there a sleeping cruise control at the heart of the new city?"...maybe somewhere in its ECU like in the civic reborn? Is it possible to import any equipment to activate this feature by any modification etc? Expert view are invited

Its like I don't have ABS in my Baleno but have ABS written in meter(without light).

May be you can install cruise control. Experts will tell better.

in pakistan not all option are available in cars

but importing stuff and then working on the option can be done

but its better not to do anything thing like this..what ever is factory fitted is perfect

In my opinion it should be very easy to install in any car with an electronic throttle....a device to communicate with the right IC in the ECU to tell it to maintain a specific throttle response n cut it off on application of brakes (its all electronic).

Which one on the website wud be suitable for a honda city? the one for the honda FIT or the honda Odyssy plus also tell me whether it can only be used in autotransmissions or on manual tranny too?

THis has never done in Pakistan till now.It has also written in GLis meter but it can not be installed.No one has installed this thing in pakistan till now.If it was a easy option then honda would have done this stock to advertise its feature as City Cruisetronic.

i asked them the method for doing the same but they didnt tell me.....

i think "309" is the member who knows how to do this, i have once seen in his thread, i tried but didnt succeded....

there is an airbag indicator in toyota gli. but stays off. these stuff are same in all cars.. they cant make meter specially for Pakistan ,,, cus we remove every extra features to get max profit .....

They cant save on these lights coz these lights come fitted in these panels from abroad...another interestting fact to know wud be ...does the thai model of honda city have cruise control?

its available now (front and back arm rest,trunk light)with extra 5000 rs
however the central locking is already present from 2009 models

2009:Basic model
2010 silver coated panels
2011 armrests,trunk light,exhaust finisher
