Cultus AC performance

Is there any way to improve cultus ac performnce in summer. I used to travel to interior sindh(mostly larkana) in summers i had notice that when ambient temperature outside is 45 or 46 then only front passengers get appropriate cooling and siting back complaining of cooling and my car is 2014 cultus everything is ok cooling fans runs fine original used and refrigerant is leved evaporator is not chocked and throw is quite enough but cooling is not good jesi karachi me hoti he please don't day that compressor weak its new car bhai. Anyone know any alterations to do and get improve performance if any one is suggesting some thing kindly also quote price for that job.

Cover your windows with shades. Use coolant in radiator instead of water.

I once read that you can put Corolla 89-2000 models AC fan & its motor in cultus, which has a much higher air throwing speed.
And another one to put relays on your AC fan to make it work faster.

I know that its just making the air flow higher, but logically the faster the air is sucked in, cooled off and then thrown back in the car, the better the temp will be.

But its just theory, Haven't heard if this also works as well.

This issue of cultus AC is not actually ac but the lack of Insulation of Dashboard, there is no way for cultus to throw cool air with hot dashboard, so if you can get some Insulation done on dashboard you will feel the difference IMO. At night cultus ac works good because its dashboard is cool.

I have cultus 2010 and my AC is super cool even in hottest summers. I don't think so it's the issue of hot dashboard.

This issue of cultus AC is not actually ac but the lack of Insulation of Dashboard, there is no way for cultus to throw cool air with hot dashboard, so if you can get some Insulation done on dashboard you will feel the difference IMO. At night cultus ac works good because its dashboard is cool.

Agree with but insulating means downing value of car and there is no possible way to insulate it without pasting if you had an idea kindly share will be appreciated.

I have cultus 2010 and my AC is super cool even in hottest summers. I don't think so it's the issue of hot dashboard.

I highly doubt that, it will at least throw cool air after 30 mins, i have used/kept cultus both vxr 2006 and vxri 2008, both zero meter. May be front seat passenger can get cool air by turning the direction of each vent to his face but car cabin takes long to get the feeling of AC in cultus.

i think the main reason of cultus AC failure/low performance is Denso AC system my friend recently installed sanden AC in his cultus when he sat in my car in day time ac was turned on fan position 3 and he was like ""terey AC me to dam hi nahi he bhai"" then few days ago i took ride in his car there was real different cooling comparing to mine. can you tell me if removed hot air connection will it improve my car AC little. if guys know any AC mechanic expert in karachi so he can help me to modify it ?

Let me tell you why Cultus AC does not work well. First of all, Cultus has got pathetic insulation. Sometimes, hot air starts entering from the holes in body next to dashboard (from where wires go to and fro). Secondly, the rubber insulation of doors are also pathetic. Hot air enters from there as well. And the third most pathetic part of Cultus air conditioning system is its compressor. It is just the worst. It can not compress gas properly and also puts extra load on engine.
The only way to improve A/C performance is to change compressor. In new cultus, some how Suzuki figured out that changing compressor with better one will fix the issue. So get new from Suzuki dealership. Plus, change its expansion valve as well. Both once changed, you will feel a real difference in AC cooling.
If you can't afford new compressor, then buy Mitsubishi's Pajero Mini's compressor and fit that. Some modifications would be required.
Another solution is to get your current car's compressor serviced. That might improve cooling a little bit. Also cover the body wholes beneath dashboard properly and try changing door rubbers as well.

install toyota corolla 96 or 88 ac condenser in ur cultus.....
ac working superb........even in hot summer....
i do all that in my cultus 2010 efi...

The main problem which i faced in 2004 and 2007 carby Cultus both. Was
The 2004 cultus was having denso ac unit.
The compressor of denso is really something good but in denso system the main problem was its condensor and condensor fan. I changed the condensor with baleno MFC and got a high speed fan for condensor after that day never ever felt decrease in AC performance even in peak hours and traffic jam's....

The 2007 cultus was having sanden ac unit.
The compressor in the sanden unit is not upto the mark.
Condensor is good multiflow but the condensor fan is hell slow...
I have just changed condensor fan in the unit with a high speed fan and felt a remarkable improvement in cooling but no where near to the denso AC Unit as in 2004 cultus...

Depends on which AC System it has......

If its sanden then get a good spal fan that can cost you around 2000-/RS.
If its denso then the MFC condensor costs around 4500-5500-/RS. + Fan seperate ...

But the Denso compressor is more powerful than the Sanden compressor......

How did i come to know that which brand of AC is in my carby cultus 2007. AC mechanic advised me to change its condenser first then gas fill and use AC otherwise its useless.

mine is Denso then
and cooling for front stage is good. back stage at day is like nothing running
refrigerant was refilled in this winter.
if we set went to back side only then one person on back facing went get cooling.
Will a simple service fix the problem as its not serviced since years

If the air throw is good then service won't affect much on cooling..
Actually there is another problem in cultus that is its insulation is not proper..
Dashboard gets heated and the cooling decreases try to keep the dashboard cool.
