Cultus Bad average

Always reading forums here ..which giving extra knowledge
Guys facing an isssue with my suzuki cultus carburetor engine which i owned last year ..which was running good and very satisfied but suddenly felt very bad fuel average on petrol. Then went to mechanic he said ( bhai jan iski butterfly kati huwi hai ,is waja se fuel bohat khaw rahi hai ,or Rass bhi bohat zayda ho jati hai )
Soo make its carburetor butterfly , not satisfied after that too its giving me 7 ,7.5 km per liter in city ..
Help me out for this ..talk to other cultus owners but they said k bhai carburetor engine hai sahi average hai 7 km ki EFI thori jo 12 ,13 day ..but i heard that carburetor engine is giving almost 11km per liter

Yes that's very low.
Does there's smell of fuel from exhaust? Or any leak?
Driving style depends alot.

a normal cultus will give you around 11-12 within city and 15-18 on long routes. depends on engine condition your driving style road condition traffic condition and all that.

low average in carb is mainly due to faulty carburettor. the mechanic may be right because petrol flow in them is controlled by that so-called butterfly in their common language.

Yes it smells before ..but i tunned my engine change spark plugs etc ..now i didnt felt any smell ..

I m from Hyderabad ..their is not any issue regarding traffic as campare to karachi routes

Yes might be ..but i recently made carburetor butterfly from karachi ..now the engine sound + accelerator is perfect but the petrol average is worst ..( 7 km per liter) before all these situation my car giving me almost 9 km per liter in city with AC

Check the color of spark plugs.

Your car is auto fan of radiator or direct!????
If direct. Then change to auto fan.
Cold car consume more petrol. Check status of plug.... it should be red not black. If black..... mean rich air fuel mixture.
Do all vaccume pipes properly installed on carbeurator??

I also have cultus carburetor and getting 15-16 avg in islamabad
Get your carburetor checked from an expert
Get your ignition timing set with timing gun.
Check thermostat valve and auto fan
Lastly put 10w40 oil in it

Just start your car... and check radiator fan.... if fan switch on from start... it is direct fan..
If fan is not switch on at start. But start at increased engine temp... fan is automatic.

Yes brother, i checked when ever i start Ignition switch 2 terminal fans starts ..

Soo brother apne jesa kaha matlb meri cultus ka fan direct hai isy Automatic karwau ..is se AC p to koi Effect nh aye ga ? or
Fuel Average kia iski waja se bhi vary krti hai?

Ignition Timing set or engine timing

Can any one tell this too what is this ? Many PW mentioned this word ..

Oho...im from Islamabad if you visit here sometime i can refer to my mechanic he can set the ignition timing within 5 mins
Ignition timing is set by rotating the distributer clockwise /anticlockwise mechanic here do this by tukka which is wrong you need to get it set by a timing gun find a workshop or mechanic who have timing gun.
Enercon guys also have timing gun you can search on google for enercon in your city

You need to check your t valve and radiator fan is auto means turning on and off after sometime...
Engine needs to run on optimum temperature for better performance

@syedgulhasan i endorse syed gul. If your car engine cooling system is good. Then no issue with automatic fan. It maintain car engine temp to be optimum. Fuel efficiency is good.
Open car radiator and start car. If water is flowing in circular at cold temp inside radiator. Then T valve is not installed. I suggest you to make radiator fan automatic atleast. Your car will not heat up.

Searching for ignition timing with timing gun in Hyderabad

@scholar.center brother i open radiator cap and start car ..first i feel bubbles ( jesay pani josh ma ata hai ,patakhay jesy ) then i accelerate i feel l that water is stable or shayd little bit circular hoga tbhe stable tha
Buddy kia iska matlb ha tapped valve install nh hai ..?
Kia tapped valve install krna parta hai ?
