Cultus Frame Crack Need Help

Salam,

I have got problem in my recently purchased cultus model 2009 EFI, 104000kms driven. Problem is that when i accelerate my car it moves to right a bit and when i release accelerator it moves to left. It also happens on gear shifting from 3rd gear to 4rth n 4rth to fifth. Now i have found the reason of this problem. There is crack in frame beneath the car where Chimta is attached with frame. Welding of frame is done but after 3 days it starts to crack again. Now please tell me permanent solution of this.
Alignment guy told me to weld a rod (Chikh) beneath the car , is this a good idea ???
Tyres are new.Tyre Pressure is 30Psi in all. Wheel alignment done. Steering assembly serviced. Replaced chimtey & ends with new, Goda work done but still issue remains. Alignment guy told me that this is due to frame crack as frame doesn't remains in one position
I am worried Please Help

Get a custom adjustable cross bar do not get it welded in place but tighten that at the bolts where lower control arm's are held.(i guess so this would be better than welding)
After that get the car suspended on 4 jack stands equally under the frame and then get this cracked place treated.
BTW @Hassan1991 has done something similar to his ride let's check if he can help about it.

Get it welded+ coloured by a good denter....mien is also welded.
After then install a rod to connect both lower control arm together and that rod should be connected with bolts of control arm
I had faced exact same problem before restoration.

this part is called moki in mechanic language I hope it wasnt welded with torch last time yes welding a bar will helo but this needs to be repaired as well I wonder how you ended up damaging it so soon I have usually seen this on old khybers and g11 charades it is repairable being there done that

This is quite common scenario with Pak Suzuki cars and shows what bs they deliver. Mehrans altos and cultuses have this problem.

Sir i have purchased this car a month ago, at that moment it was fine but later i faced problems of alignment. I thought it was alignment issue but it was crack moki as u said. Previous owner didn't told me that thing (ab gari k neechy kon ghuss k check karta hy) body wise car is in original condition checked by a master Guy i dont know why this happened.
Previous time it was welded by gas welding but it doesn't last for a week.
This moki can be replaced or just we can repair it ? ?

Sir after this rod treatment how's drive of ur car. Is it Ok. Any problems ?? I mean to say is this permanent solution ? If u have Pics of that particular area they will help more.
If a piece of metal is welded with Moki covering the crack area, i think it would a better option.

How a denter can colour this part ? with Spray paint bottle ?

He covered it by liquid compound using brush
Sorry don't have pictures of before welding but you can see there's alot of welding done and you can also see that bar in first pic. I had coated floor with oil.

It's quiet rusty after it was welded only 3 days ago.looks like the guy has quenched it with water to cool it down that would make it brittle and more prone to crack,you should get these areas Mig welded then plated over for extra reinforcement.the lower wishbone brace will help but your chassis repairs have to be strong to ensure your car will be safe to drive.

This rod wouldn't be available you have to get one fabricated according to your needs.
BTW i have seen some car's with this type of adjustable rod/brace at alignment shop's.

Yes bhai this is what he need and this one is original wouldn't be easily available
That's how it will be fitted (indicate one! As it's stock car so no need to for anti roll car
remember when you made a custom one make it in two pieces and join them with bolt as this bar is. @hassantahir2 this bar should be installed in every car which doesn't comes with suspension crossmember.

Today i visited sultan ka khoo for that Rod bt couldn't anything like this .. but i came to know that Moki n plate (beneath moki) is available in market .. whats about replacment of this whole part..
Pic of plate .. a guy is purching the plate he has same problm with his cultus ..

cant comment on how goid it will prove through usually denters fabricate such parts easily what my denter does he used floor pans and reshapevthem accord to need anyways if you decide to replace do make sure too tell denter to cut it mechanicaly not with torch and use electric welds

Agreed electric weld would be better.
it wouldn't be available you have to make a custom one...now you now the design.

So finally done some alteration.. moulded pieces of metal on cracks with gas welding. Electric welding was rejected by my mechanic because it can damage the car metal sheet.
Hooks with holes are welded on both ends of rod n then this rod is fixed to control arms on both sides..
After all this car is tested on high speed acceleration n braking and am glad to say that car is stable on high speeds. No vibration on gear shifting n braking ... there is much difference in pick and speed of car. Ref Pics attached. Opinions n suggestions are more than welcome.

Glad to know....yep that's what we are talking about.But electric weld is better but these "desi mechanics" just love gas welding as they find it's cheaper then electric. Also get it coated with compound.

I insisted him to go for electric weld but he said "patli chadar hy soorakh ho jae ga" ...
@Hassan1991 BTW which type of compound u r talking about ?
I am thinking of spray paint on this welded portion.

That liquid charcoal type....but a good spary will do the job well.
