Because the mechanic is negligent, arrogant, and doesn't listen to me because he is my father's old mechanic. He did clean it with 'petrol', but this mechanic is in the past now. I have already located a competent, more expensive mechanic. Any more information you require I will give you.

are you sure the metal piping hardware is new? - it looks ancient by the amount of dirt and mud on everything evenly.

New stuff has lesser dirt.

Problem: My Cuore Head Gasket Keeps on Blowing.
For the third time, in 2 months.

Reason: I was not aware that good quality parts should he used and my mechanic was a sham. I have pledged to use good quality parts and changed my mechanic.

Work already done: complete renewal of cooling system including new radiator Denso (Kabli but in good condition) and changed all hoses and pipes.

What made the head gasket blow second and third time: Making Fan Auto when my cousin, who I lent the car, thought the heat needle was not working and made fan auto from direct. The first time head gasket blew on direct fan but I restored the cooling system with thermostat.
Second time the head gasket blew, the Mechanic did a lousy job imo.

What I need:
An explanation for the heatup of my car provided the timing was perfect when the gasket blew, correct procedure for head gasket replacement, along with recommended shops to get work done like facing head, and suggested modifications to keep my car's temperature down. After all I have gone through, do you still recommend auto fan or not.
Also tell me which brand head gasket is recommended, and anything else to make this repair bulletproof.

The pictures were taken before the cooling system upgrade; I don't have pictures of opened engine block after the pipes replacement. All the procedures are listed above on this thread from selecting a radiator to the work/cost breakdown

Will do so. It's on the list now. What brand head gaskets do you recommend, or what should I ensure while buying?

This is real bad. Even after Kamran worked in it. How is it possible to blow head gaskets so quick. Head and the channels look absolutely fine no issues there.

Do you have the manual for the car?

I do have the manual for the car, but surprisingly it does not have instructions for head gasket replacement or the sequence of tightening of bolts. I will see to that. Will get the work done urgently. So far, this is what I have learnt:
1. Resurface the block and heat.
2. Bring the head to lathe machine if warpage.
3. Change the head bolts with new ones.
4. Replace with thicker gasket than original.
5. Tighten the head bolts according to sequence.
6. Tighten according to specified torque.

Is there anything else I need to keep in mind (I am running out of time I don't want the car to sit like this).

So today I drove my car to the mechanic. Surprisingly, the car started on first self, and drove smoothly to the mechanic (which wasnt near), and did not reduce water.
When I reached the mechanic, it wasnt even that hot. He inspected the car and found that the fan wasn't converted to Auto at all, it the relay was not working. Truly, a product of throwing acid on the engine bay, which is slowly eating away at all components.
He assured that the head gasket was okay and he replaced the relay. This time it was a guine Denso Replay, not the rs.50 MGM Relay:

Then, with cash spared, I headed over to the infamous Sabir AC to get my car's AC checked. Turns out the column pipe was ruptured badly. It was welded.

After column pipe was welded, the AC was properly serviced and topped up with Honeywell gas.

When he got to hear about the troubles with my car, he looked at it, serviced the radiator for FREE and added foam between condenser and radiator for proper radiator cooling.

Overall, the car is back and running as it should, but I will keenly observe car's behavior over the next two weeks.

So the head gasket survived this time... Observe the fan movement keenly. The car should not be reducing water if it is reducing the reduction should be negligible since you are using water.....

After doing some reading, it became apparent that this foam is not just a minor afterthought of the original engineers. The foam serves its strongest function while idling or driving slowly. Without it, the fans will suck in hot engine cabin air through the gap and then through the radiator. It can make a big difference in operating temperature. At speed the effect is less but the foam does stop cold air from bypassing the radiator after it has been brought in through the grill and condenser. It probably has a minor impact on operating temperature. Additionally, it increases the airflow in specially cars with single fan for radiator and condenser. @Xulfiqar bhai can shed light on it if he wants.

Sadly I didn't take the picture of foam between radiator and condenser, but if you can see the last picture above, if you see the fan shroud closely you can see the form lining and foam sheet.

Oh that... Now I got. It is basically there to seal the fan shroud to the radiator body to prevent any losses and in efficiencies. Nice job. A jugaad but good enough. How is the cooling now. Why did the AC pipe leaked and answers to that by the technician.

Here's a picture of the rupture of the pipe... Right above the condenser. As you can see, it's like some thing hit it with great force or someone (hint: my father's mechanic?) Ruptured it. The workers were also amazed by the size, usually there are small leaks in cars.
Anyways, I forgot to ask for explanation... The heat was melting my head and making me drousy.. had to drink a big glass of lassi to keep standing all day.

One of my friend's Honda City 2001 Auto got stuck in traffic today, after searching for mechanics he contacted me, I gave his car a start from my battery and voila helped him at 11pm. Knowing a thing or two about cars has it's benefits

A little education I got yesterday from looking at a lot of automatic cuore.
The automatic cuore came with a double-pass aluminum radiator with a heavy fan. I have seen 10 year old models with original Denso radiators in them. When the fan is running, the engine bay feels like a tornado. I think that for such a small car the cooling system is more than adequate, yet the cramped engine bay makes the car hot.
2/3 times the car overheated because of fan relay failure. This time I have installed Denso Original Relay, it better work good.
I am soon going to re-tape the wiring whoch looks like a mess.
An uncle drove a 2005 cuore auto next to my car and the engine bay was perfect. Just compare the wiring on this one with my car's wiring:

told you. your wiring is a mess. Dont tape it yourself. Do make the connections strong first. Use heat shrink where necessary. Wiring channels are available at electrical shops do buy them.

one of my friend who owns cuore way back was saying manual and auto radiators are not same. automatic one is expensive when he get the quote from Toyota.

Now Toyota is asking 48000 rupees for auto cuore radiator. It's a good radiator but 48K ka lena bewaqoofi hai

The cuore automatic radiator was locally made in Karachi by loads engg. They still sell the core, you can go to plaza to the speciality radiator core shops, they will even get you a custom size if you can wait a week, Once you have it, use your old end tanks (as you have auto it will have a cooler in it) and find a correct cooling fan. The market near the zoo also has a radiator section and excellent craftsmen that make radiators, dont forget to use coolant mix and never just water.

The 22A denso relay you installed are trash and will cause issues, The factory relay placed in the auto model of this was a round one but was a 30A rated one. Its very easy to mistake it. For replacement, if the original is missing and not available then buy a bosch 40A cube relay with its connector, The bosch 40A also has a mounting eye and works a treat as its very high quality. They used to be sold brand new in Karachi too in both 12 and 24V as they are installed by trakker, military, industrial equipment etc,

Sir why was the loads engineering radiator branded and sold as Denso? I am pretty sure Denso was written on it because all the Auto cuore in geniine Condition I saw had Denso written on it. This is low, even for Toyota Indus Motors.
