Oil was put thru carb air intake for cars running on cng. Infact it was a common practice. Logic was (valve jaam nh hota.) Though i seriously doubt it.
What i would suggest you is that invest in some tools like timing light and automotive multimeter. (Both can be bought under 10k).That way you will not have to visit these mechanics. Would save your time and money. ( Car too).
You can find service manual for your car it would have all the required data for tuning.
It takes about half an hour to correctly set dwell and timing and valve clearance And your car will run without trouble.

Don't fall prey to these mechanics many car's exhaust has carbon in it which is accumulated over the years of usage.

So oil was old then and it didn't cleaned up because either car was running cold or has not seen any high way run.

You're right, the car is running cold on direct fan. On auto fan the head gasket blows and/or car overheats. The car has seen a lot of long routes on liari expressway lately though.

If it is running cold then it doesn't matter it drives on long routes or not. Head gasket blows out if not properly torqued.

For him the issue was not only out of spec torque but the head wasn't placed right, the timing was way to advance. He blew it twice last month khair the issue was resolved.. then his fan relay gave out and the car heated up. And now a few days ago the plugs had oil. I the last one was only the point issue. Oily plugs I don't believe his engine could have done that.

And how did you make up for the increased compression ratio ?

No idea about the increased compression ratio. But my idiot mechanic did advance the timing which made the throttle response too good. Result was a head gasket leak within a month. This head gasket is leaked a little but running fine uptil now. Timing, tappets, etc were adjusted by a good mechanic. Then the fan relay blew which made the car overheat.

Today a few relatives came over so we couldn't go. My father doesn't want to sell the car in this condition to the next owner but on my insistence we settled on changing seat covers only before selling.

When I have money one day... My dream car is Nissan Sunny B16. Seriously that car's comfort is comparable to luxury brands. But for now we must enjoy our Wagon R and thank Allah for what we have
