EXACTLY sir.... the dug dug sound....... you get that characteristic sound ........... especially from the OHC engine with these sorts of exhausts. Its a single cylinder engine......... so exhaust design is quite straight forward...... if it were a multi cylinder engine there are things you need to keep in mind.

Case Study:
I drive a Civic EG....... my younger brother swapped the genuine exhaust system with

a biga$$ aftermarket 4-2-1 manifold and a free flow exhaust.......

People Say:
u get more power with this setup as the engine is able to exhaust out the gases as quickly as possible......however that was not the case.

Why The Loss of Power:
I notice a minute reduction in power....... specially torque. I searched for the reason and found it. The civic engine is a 4 cylinder 4 stroke SOHC unit, with cylinders firing at different times so each time a power stroke happens in the engine and an exhaust valve opens........ positive pressure is created in the exhaust manifold. And in between these positive pressures............. negative pressures also happen, especially at lower speeds. As cylinders create these pressures at different times, they can interfere with each other and slow the release of exhaust gases. Thats what I experienced with a 4 cylinder engine.

Conclusion:
I think there is no harm in 1 into 2 exhaust system for a single cylinder engine other than the cost itself. It will cost you twice as much
I might be wrong as my knowledge and experience on exhaust is very limited..... its better to wait for the big guns to weigh in.

One thing about exhaust though.
Im sure u have seen several custom built exhaust in Pakistan..... they usually do not look good.
The reason I feel they do not look good is because they are not a snug fit......

Kaam choori by the exhaust guy........ they just weld things........ they do not care about the clearance level is waaaay too much.
A good exhaust pipe is almost hugging the frame of the bike...... there are no gaps...... its a little hard to pull off I admit but nothing our exhaust guys cant do......... they just are lazy.

Make sure you insist repeatedly about the gap between the frame/engine and the exhaust pipe....... it shud be as little as possible to get "That" snug fit........ makes a lot of difference to the looks of the chopper.

Tyre Question Everyone

Bike's rear tyre needs to be replaced. its 130 15". Current tyre is 4 ply and written Tube Only Tyre on it.

I want a tubeless tyre. I searched Bilal Ganj. They have 6 ply tyre having tube with it. Tubeless or Tube only Tyre is not written on it. I have heard that we can use 6 ply tyre as tubeless. Can we? Is it safe? or should i only look for a tyre where tubeless is written.

I have 6 ply tyres installed on my chonda 70....... they've got tubes........ a tubeless tyre has a different structure altogether. The bead is different....... let me google it

Yep..... here you go:
Unlike traditional pneumatic tires which use a separate inner tube, tubeless tires have continuous ribs molded integrally into the bead of the tire so that they are forced by the pressure of the air inside the tire to seal with the flanges of the metal rim of the wheel.

So a 6ply tyre wont nessecarily work as a tubeless.

Secondly.... Why Bilal Gunj dude........ why not a new set of tyres........ Or bilal gunj also sells new tyres?

Why bilal ganj? because i have heard that new tyre markets don't have bike tyres. I haven't tried new tyre market like Neela Gumbad or Railway Station. BG has used tyres but you can find a good tyre if lucky. but still suggestions are welcomed. where else should i look for?

I wud rather suggest you to "invest" in a new set of tyres than "expense out" on a used set...... tyres have a shelf life dude. a used 3000km done tyre will certainly have a good amount of tread on them but what if that tyre is like 5 years old...... it will deteriorate faster. The used tyre salesman hav tricks up their sleeves to make a cripsy old tyre soft........ maybe they dip it in some sort of an oil of something.......... bottom line...... usually used tyres do not last.

Japanese tyres are the best but also the most expensive. Japanese Yokohamas cost more than Thai Yokohamas....... so dnt just look out for brands but also the origin.

Someone told me MRF tyres are also available in the market.... Indian tyres....... donno if true or not..... they must be affordable.

4-5k for a tubeless 130mm wide tyre.........hmmmmmmmm...... new is out of the window then.

I understand there are constraints in a custom built and one has to stay in a defined budget.
If ur current tyres are in good shape and i wud suggest u finish the project on them.

The chopper can have new shoes when papa can afford them in a couple of months

6 ply is nothing special. My gs has got 6 ply front and back. Alloys usually have tubeless radials, but thing is your chopper has a unique rear wheel diameter, so might be difficult to source a tyre for it

@aximaxim the cruisers have very small rear wheel 13'~16' is there size mostly ....

specifiaclly talking this cruiser is using a 15' rear and 130'140' wide which are no where available in new tyres market or he may end up importing one for himself if not found in used market.
