Please give me the name and address of the outlet from where Tech 2.0 and wolfgang paint sealant can be bought in khi, also recommend a compund polish to actually bring the paint job to a good state after washing the car becoz since my city has been delivered i have noticed that the standard of Pakistani paint job isnt as good as JDM, i previously owned a vitz which came with a sealed finish, the city's paint job is so left unfinished type, it seems that its not even been compunded properly before comin to dealership. So wat im planning is i'll park the car inside my garage n wash it first, dry it, then use this compound which ur going to recommend me to get rid of the slight blemishes n bad patches left by honda, then after takin off the compund im going to seal it with wolfgang sealant and finally i'll apply few coats of tech 2.0. Wat u say?

If you feel the factory paint has blemishes, I would strongly advise that before you attempt any compounding you ask the dealership where you got this car why the paint is like it is. If there are differences in panels or blemishes like dust in the paint, then that implies a re-spray. An unscrupulous dealer may have sold you a car that was damaged on delivery and then resprayed at their facility. Generally I've found the paint quality on Hondas to be pretty good.

Already got my car checked its clean no issues, th thing is City is a cheap variant of honda unlike a civic which are really good, get a zero meter city n u'll know the short comings then.

Okay then you should go ahead and compound. If you really want to smoothen out the paint job, I'd suggest get the finest kind of sandpaper (2000+ grit), do a wet sand on the entire car. Then use 3Ms perfect-it rubbing compound to bring the shine back and see the look your car gives. It will look far better than the orange-peel factory look.

After that you can seal the paint.

I have good experience with paint sealant (royal shield, a Teflon based sealant) and it has protected my black car's paint well over the past five years. Even a damp cloth is sufficient to wipe all the dust and dirt after driving in rain, which is otherwise impossible on a black paint, which needs thorough shampooing and waxing at least twice, or thrice a month.

Royal Shield although is a good sealant, from what I know its based more on longevity than "depth in shine". Which is fine because most "sealed" paint jobs from the factory also focus on sealant longevity.

WolfGang like I mentioned is more of a pro-detailer tool for people who can seal their car on a bi-annual basis. From my experimentation with sealants the shorter life span sealants give an immense depth to the paint.

Have you tried Surf City product? From what I hear, it's the King of all car care products...a wax bottle alone costs $20

I tried that and threw it away after one use. Try Meguiars Interior Detailer. Its fantastic and won't leave a slick shine.
