It seems like most if not all of the products u used are self imported and ot available locally. I have a white car and it has this swrill marks especially when seen under direct light, i dont want to cut the color so wts the best way to reduce them instead of using a heavy duty cutting compound?? and is Turtle wax platinum series available here?? Thanks

Most light rubbing compounds like the 3M Perfect it 3000 will do it without taking off much of your clear coat.

The other option is to "mask" the swirls using Meguiars Swirl-X then applying a good wax on top of that. Again for waxes I highly recommend TechWax 2.0 after trying at least two dozen other waxes.

I also want to ask what do you do (some thing special) for the window glasses and screens to protect them from scratches?

Glint is not much reliable for night driving.

Glint is not much reliable for night driving.

I have tried numerous tire shine products, none which deliver a shine like the Meguiars product. The depth is unmatchable.

As far as cleaning your windshield goes, don't use any products on it. Clean it with a chamois cloth and then wipe it down with a microfiber towel and finish it with a detailing wipe, like the kind sonax sells. Always remember, don't run a dry cloth over a dirty windshield.

I know you explained that they might not be the best suited but got it beofre your thread started so hard luck. In any case just wanted to ask if if is safe for using on a new car. Got a honda civic 3 months old. I searched online and there wernt many people who said a no no but there was someone on pakwheels who pointed that out so just confirming ..

I will make a note to try it next time I buy some detailing stuff.

Secondly, there are scratch removing methods like buffing your windshield but I strongly advice you not to do that. For one thing, they distort your vision if its not done properly, secondly the tools and compounds needed for cutting glass like that are just not available here.

Its best if you do this to a new car. The paint is in ideal condition to be "sealed". My Mazda came with factory sealed paint, although I'm pretty sure that wore off within the first year. I did reseal the paint since then.

The proper procedure for sealing paint is to do all the steps I did in the thread (wash, clay, wax etc). Then apply paint sealant at night and leave it on for at least 12 hours. Then take it off with a circular polisher running on a 3M perfect it foam pad. The result I can guarantee will be dazzling

Are you referring to the kind of wax? If you're referring to my wax, then TechWax 2.0 is synthetic. And if I'm not mistaken, I think polymer and synthetic are the same thing. The other kind of wax is carnauba (natural herbs and stuff), which doesn't work well in our environment to my experience.

What do you recommend for cleaning the seats of 8th gen? the one which comes in oriels, something called high grade material. Its a soft material which will absorb liquids therefore I cant use any type of cleaner/spray on it

Yeah I had the same "high grade" seats until I changed them to suede Recaro fabric.

You can use turtle wax's upholstery cleaning foam, I believe I've mentioned it somewhere on the first page.
