Increasingly becoming the detailing junkie, ive realised quite a few things that you have mentioned in your thread. There are a few things that i want to ask you so that i can clarify them out about exterior detailing.

1. Is the TechWax 2.0 liquid as good as the paste ? I ask this because i want to get the MEGUIAR'S® DUAL ACTION POLISHER and use the wax with the polisher. I dont mind a one time investment and im sure it would be better than the local stuff plus using the recommended products does have its effects.

2. I have mild to maybe moderate swirls on my car and since I want to get everything from Meguiars would you recommend me the ultimate compound or the swirl X ? i will again be applying this with the above recommended polisher and their recommended foams.

3. I am definitely getting the clay kit. How good is a stand alone polish. I was thinking of the deep crystal system polish which is supposed to applied before the actual wax.

4. In a city like ours is it useful to use the meguiar's ultimate quick detailer for every few day use and the rest of the day using just a micro fiber cloth to wipe of the dust ?

5. Should i get just the plastic X for the headlights or the kit becuase it has its own buffer which can be used with a drill machine.

I am using Mothers sine five years, i never have had any complains by Mothers, I am very satisfied my Mothers, as you said Meguairs teck wax is more better than Mothers, similarly Mothers does have a synthectic wax which i belive far more better than Meguiars Tec wax, i have used both brands and i rated in Pakistan Mothers is a # 1.

Mothers does suit our envoirment only it is just a matter of what products you are using.

in the start of this thread, you mentioned some "secret" weapon for treating exterior black trims. What is that which works better than Mother's Back to Black even ?

My brand new GLi has a very very dull black plastic at the wiper area...and no matter what it doesn't pick up the grace a new black trim should have.

This is pretty contrary to what I've experienced, I guess Lahore's environment plays well with the mother's wax, its clearly not the case here in Karachi. Also most pro detailers that I know in the USA swear by Techwax. It just boils down to personal preference I suppose.

Would agree with Cylestyne. Havn't used Meguiars Tech wax but used Mothers and it does not lasts long. Hardly a week

Used Tech Wax on my car last weekend....I think it will take some time to be an expert to get the max out it though...
Used Meguir's Quik Interior cleaner as well....it pulls out the dirt amazingly ..i keep the interior very clean (unlike the outside) .....usually not even a spec of dust is seen....but the amount of grime it removed was remarkable....BUT...the finish it leaves is very dull and infact it is not supposed to be left on surface but wiped off with dry cloth.....guys recommend any conditioner to be applied on top of it...i dont need glossy finish but a deep matte finish with good protection is what i am looking for.
