D.I.Y USB, AUX, Card Reader for Rs.260

Hello Hamza,

Thanks for liking the work. Well connection are very simple, see every FM Modulator has "Aux Input", so you can connect any MP3 player or your mobile phone with it.

On other side, this MP3 kit is generating the sound signals, so I just took the output wires of MP3 kit and connect it with Aux Input of FM Modulator. If you see in pictures, there a black jack is inserted into FM Modulator.

Rest I gave power supplies to both circuits.

Thanks for appreciating the work. Hmmm at previous comments, Ali also mentioned about the Video USB card. Unfortunately I haven't seen such card yet, but I will try to find in market and then I can give my opinion over it.

Also if you have this video USB card, then please upload the pictures so that I can have a look.

Very nice work i have also made this for used in my fx and attached output to cassette that is used for MP3 players working fine. But your work is neat.
Can you guide if we used dvd card having option of usb input so that many formats can pe played and also later we can connect it to lcd. Only problem is that dvd card has no such display that show usb is working or not if we don't have lcd.

Dvd video cards are easily available in markets for about rs.500 input of usb and lens option. Remote can also be connected and can play mp3, vcd, mpeg etc but again we need some smart display for folder swapping and selection. May some techie person can add 1 to 2 inch mobile phone display. It will be nice idea in just some little cost.

only problematic area is to connect display for swapping folder option otherwise we can listen only mp3 not video songs. and large display can increase the cost of project if we don't need video playback at this time

every thing shown in working order, tape powered by computer power supply on right side, and internal speaker of dell desktops connected with tape, the small black thingy on rear left corner of tape is speaker

about sound quality, well it would be same as that of AUX cassette, might be little better coz two heads have been eliminated rest at this stage i cant tell coz you have the test speaker in the scenario

agreed, in this case i have completely disconnected the mechanical unit, but tomorrow i will attach both pins to the point, AUX and usual input to PCB so from where ever input comes it will play, and yes your idea of mp3 kit and amplifier is good.

about something same for optical unit, well what can i say that my tape lived to see another day i hopes your cd player also lives

wait let me open up a cd rom, i will update in about 15 minutes

i dont think there is much room to work with optical unit, do check if there is possibility, try something like this with your alpine unit if possible
