in my view the prices of federal autos are much higher. You can get estimates from shops in Rwp (gawalmandi/saddar). I think there will be a difference of 25-30% in prices

I want to install the air conditioner in my woo. the installed components are:-
(a) condensor (un-known condition)
(b) evaporaor (un-known condition)
The missing components are:-
(a) compressor
(b) drier/filter
(c) pipes & accessories

can anyone tell me about any reasonable mechanic/shop in RWP/ISB? and estimate about this job?

its been quite long since we seen common faces here of ASAD TESTDRIVER and others....either poeple ve sold there rides or just not interested any more...
well my question is that recently i changed the radiator abd bought a kabli one coz the car was heating up, the water in radiator after heat up was rusty in color. and at the time it would be at optimum level but when i would check it afterwards when the car was cold it would be reduced a bit.....even after changing the radiator....teh heat up issue is resolved..i drove the car in congested traffic in scorching heat of multan with A.C on but the heat needle didnt go above the mid of the white area....the only issue now is that the water level is reduced when i check the reservoir next day. then i fill it up and ride the car but then again when i check it the next day its reduced...what could be the possible cause....i dnt think the head gasket is culprit coz the car is not heating up like it used to and the head was replaced at central automobile last month...
there is little missing on c.n.g which is undectable on petrol....other wise engine is ok.....so can any one tell what could be the possible cause?

Did you check the probable water leakage, check the rubber pypes particularly at joints or for ant minor hole therein. you can also trace the water leakage by observing the signs of water rust. if cap of water bottle is not in good condition the it also leaks.

I have also the same issue of @guybwp but a little difference is when i set radiator fan to direct then water level is not reduced. But when i set the FAN automatic then water level is reduced daily in the reservoir. Another issue is FAN is start when the heat needle go above the middle level. (in case of automatic fan)
I have changed the head gasket last month from Mr. Athar (Central Automobile) and got checked the sensors. all are working fine.
I am very much confused, nobody tell me why my daewoo fan starting after heat needle above the middle level and why the water is reducing even radiator was cleaned and resolved the leakage issue last month.

Hi guys, I am in deep issue of switching my WOO to PETROL, as it has been going very well on CNG but the country situation of CNG load shedding make me think for BOTH the facilities. I have full wiring solved from the WOO wire-man, and has done a remarkable job. But when starting on petrol it don't go, to remain started it need to touch the BODY of the engine, when accelerating it just switched OFF, then starting again and touching the engine. I don't get the issue neither did the Wire-man as he tried each and everything on course, replaced all the grips, sensors, and all, but to no avail. I am still looking how to switch and start going on petrol. Please help me ... anyone ...

There might be some water leakage. How much you paid for Kabli radiator and hows its condition. i have also the same issued, ride heatup with AC, otherwise its ok.

my question is other than daewoo, i have changed gearbox of my khyber with the kabli one as previous one was producing enough goonj. now after replacement, it has been majorly reduced but still present therein.

now there are two options either to replace it again or use some gear oil additive like liquimoly gear oil additive and liquimoly gear protect???

what do you suggest? is it possible that this goong may be of some other thing. sound reduces in 3rd and 4th gear. in case of wheel bearing, it will not reduce in top gears.

i used new gear oil of caltex of 90 No in the kabli gear.

both mechanics were satisfied with the kabli gear quality when it was opened.

Has your problem been resolved?
If the sound has been reduced by changing the gearbox, then the issue is probably with the gearbox itself. Try changing the gear oil first and if the problem is still unresolved, take your car to mechanic to physically check the gearbox by opening it. For a little more study, visit the link:

i have some problem in my daewoo from last two weeks.
I am using Daewoo from last 6 years. Some month ago I overhauled the engine from Daewoo point Islamabad but after the almost 10,000km running suddenly cam was broken at 95km/h speed.
I go to my mechanic Daewoo point he change the cam shaft (KABLI) but after the 200km running one day I start my car in morning and after 2 mint cam was broken again. I call the mechanic he advice to change whole head with cam.
Dear testdriver please guide me and also tell me what problem will occurs in my Daewoo Head. Can my Daewoo head is not repairable?

Whenever the cam shaft breaks, just replacing it with another one will not solve your issue, since you have just cured the symptom not the disease. You should have taken the head to lathe machine for the discovering the possible reason for the cam breakage. As far as the head job is concerned, only an expert lathe machine guy can do it since it needs a lot of precision than a normal tappet head. Better change it.

OR they are busy with their jobs!

Anyone of you have ever noticed that there is a small valve in the radiator bottle cap that evacuates excessive pressure from the engine water lines. The water is exiting from the cap as a invisible steam (you can notice a very low hissing sound while the engine is hot and engine is shut off by getting your ear closer to the radiator bottle cap). If the valve become faulty, it either blocks the pressure within the water lines or it allow water to escape through it (it is in such a small amount that the water evaporates just after leaving the cap and you can notice rusty particles around the cap). Better replace the cap if it is faulty.
Missing on CNG might be due to mixing of petrol with CNG or the mixture settings on CNG. Another thing can be improper plug gaps, remember petrol is more volatile than CNG and a weaker spark (bigger gap) will not be much noticeable while on petrol!

VSS - Vehicle Speed Sensor

It is the same thing whether you call it road speed sensor or vehicle speed sensor. It is located at the place where the speedometer cable arises from the gearbox.

I think the computer is not getting proper earth, which it shares with the engine. The earth point is just behind the cam housing towards the alternator, you can notice two thimbles attached to the engine by a 12mm bolt. Otherwise the ECM can be a culprit (remember that on CNG the engine will still work regardless the ECM)

Thanks, i have checked the above link but atually its giving detailed reasons of gear sounds.

I replaced the gear with the kabli one but still sound is there, although it is reduced by 70% approx. New caltex gear oil of 90No was poured in the gear, and subsequently after observing the gear sound, a bottle of SPT oil was also poured in teh gear to enhance the thickness of the gear oil.

Kabli dealer is agreed to replace the gear again and i may go again this week for the job.

Liqui moly has some gear oil additive of RS 500 (name i dont remember), which as they say, will eliminate the gear sound. WHat do you say, should i go for teh same ORRR any other idea.
