I've read about it, your gas indicator lights will not work, and you'll be hauling that extra weight of the CNG cylinder. Sell the CNG kit and get a new LPG kit instead. If you want to do it, do it properly.

Mileage with lpg varies according to engine capacity. I drive a Toyota Crown with six cylinder engine (1 G - FE) with proper LPG setup. It yields 15 km per kg within and outside city with full time ac.
Smaller engines are confirmed to yield 25 km per kg.

why the CNG level gauge switch lights doesnt work with LPG ?? are those switches available in pakistan which can tell how much LPG is left in tank ?>

pressure gauge activating the level indicator on switch have different specs for LPG & CNG. when swapping from CNG to LPG only usable item you have is cylinder & the metal feed line from cylinder to gas regulator

But I think nothing is usable as the LPG is liquid there may also exit some moisture in it and this moisture will corrode the cylinder over the time it may cause catastrophe.

@memad you are correct empty CNG cylnder is twice heavy while LPG cylinder is light weight after top up & less prone to blast at filling. Yes I read that too but that user never replied my query.

I started using Lpg on my cng kit in mehran.it worked like a charm .Just the cng tank was emptied and cng kit was tuned and set accordingly .it is giving me 26km in 1kg and with heavy foot and 30km/kg on light foot.its safe and has great acceleration and power.I feel like I am driving on patrol.
It was a successfull experiment.
Use company fitted cylinder which are protected from corrosion.

Been using lpg with cng setup in my carby cultus for over a month..average i get is 180 to 190 kms in 10 kg lpg. with full tym ac in lahore.i do not fill more than 10 kg..
the only cons i have experienced so far is u have to change ur cars cng filling port with a proper lpg filling port cz cng filling port has a complaint of leakage..thats it..

I think in the future we all will use LPG instead of CNG.
