Delivery time on 1.5L City?

AoA old friends,

Anyone knows whats the delivery time/wait on Honda City 1.5L and what is the current 'own' being charged on it?

I am split between buying the Alto AGS (small car for City that my wife can learn to drive local roads on) and the Honda City but I'm personally tilting towards the 1.5L city for sentimental reasons as I had the 2015 City half a decade ago.

Officially Honda City delivery time goes up to 6 months.

On own you might get a car for 30k to 100k depending on market condition and color required.

1.5 Standard isn't usually available on premium. Since it isn't booked too much, but your dealership might arrange it for you on premium with in 7 to 10 days.

Will suggest to buy alto, easy to drive in traffic as it is smaller and good in maneuvers... Secondly fuel efficient...

While if you will also drive it on highways then go for city...

Don't go for city for sentimental reasons.... there is a huge difference in 2015'city and current city

I believe you mean the improvements they made to the new City like airbags and cruise control or something is worse than old city? Frakly I miss the 2015 City look. It looked so damn beautiful.. This is my baby in 2016 right before selling.

Premium is around 150-200k on city

Usually high in month start, goes down in month end. Or if you find a dealership far away from city with low sales. They can hook u up with a decent deal.

The dealer can deliver your car in Pindi aswell.

But in case, anything doesn't goes according to the plan, Pindi/Karachi is far away.

Alto is a garbage car in comparison to City.

Why are people even comparing the two cars that are a class apart?
Yaris and City is understandable, but City and Alto, lol

Since itnis to be used by new driver , go for Alto. Use it fir 02 years and then change to city

Parking, usage also matters. Otherwise there is no comparison. To me mehran is a very good option along with any other car. This is not based on its drive and confort.. its about choice based on the scenario as well

I've different use cases in mind when mentioning Alto and City. Alto mainly for my wife who isn't used to driving on hectic roads. I don't want a brand new City getting dinked while she learns

Did some research last night and it seems the AGS on Alto is rather a semi automatic kinda thingy so coming from a fully automatic transmission, it seems it won't be enjoyable experience for either of us.

Coming from a 2020 Honda Civic EXT (NA variant), its surprising the Pakistani variants of City/Civic are still missing basic features like Apple CarPlay / Powered Seat controls etc in such a big price. Its making the decision very hard for me. What a pickle....

So right now, I'd go with Alto in a link if it had a proper automatic transmission. Go any higher to a 6-8 lac expensive alternate and then i think why not add a bit more money and get the City instead.

Alto but try the AGS. this isnt an "automatic gear" ..only the gear changes are automatice. its like someone press and clutch and changing gear for you.
you can influence gear changes by how much you press the accelerator. could be every annoying. Please try before buy!

Don't give stupid reasons and mislead people

Alto is the worst car money can buy

No out of the world fuel economy, noisy cabin, rough finish, no storage space and bad suspension

New city Aspire is a great car
