^ And thats exactly where Mechanics apni ustadi jhartay hain.
I have driven a couple of stock CG-125 Classic (I mean Brand New) ... and even after 500 kilometers, it failed to go beyond 100km/h. In a handful of bikes (Classic ones) there is a problem due to which the acceleration starts to lag when it goes upto 9k RPM.
I have seen my mechanic work. There is a very good reason that my bike gives me 40km/liter and even after 26k+ Driven, its engine is like brand new (Ma-sha-Allah) and goes upto 120km/h very easily.
And that same mechanic does the job for Deluxe which i have driven.
He does no alteration, only adjusts the carb and tappets. The results are always terrific. (Another fact is that i have never seen him boasting about his work like most illiterate mechanics do... humble guy)
If you think that Adjust Tappets & Carb is 'alteration' then i take my word back.
Since i have not seen or driven the 2012 model of Deluxe, i cannot say the same about that ... which means i may have to rely on your (Khan's) words.
But again, stock settings sometimes failed to live upto expectations, and thats where our mechanics come in handy. (Do i need to mention that MOST of the company's own mechanics are some idiot people who does more harm than doing any good? The ones to which people go for 'free' tunning and stuff)
